It's confirmed: this drama is hilarious. Hands down, the funniest drama in a while. It's probably because I understand what the main character is going through.

I like parts of this show ... but the main character (played by Itoh Atsushi) really annoys me. He just needs to grow a pair, or at least rent them. I can't take much more of his whimpering.

Itoh Misaki is scrumptious, on the other hand.

I see your point, but sometimes some people are like that. Take a person out of a cave and it'll take some time for them to adjust to the light.

No doubt. It may just be their lighting, but there's a certain glow about her.

While all dramas have dropped in ratings, Densha Otoko
Episode 2 ratings have skyrocketed to 21.3%!

http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Current_events

Looks like a lot of audience from Nyokei Kazoku have tuned
over to this drama which is airing in the same timeslot! hehe

Densha Otoko Movie Version hits 2 millions admissions

Densha Otoko Movie version has drawn in over 2 million moviegoers
and achieved sales of 2.69 billion yen in 40 days since its premiere. Despite
hard competition with "Batman Returns" and "War of the World's" recently,
it's still showing strong admissions. With drama and movie version
both showing, it surely helps promote each other!

Wow, I can't believe what Nasubi had to go through for that year and 3 months. That was quite evil of them to do that. Poor guy. Puppy Dog Eyes

I just watched ep 1 and 2 and I must say it's hillarious. the geek is just to much xD
I must get the DVD for the movie when it is released on DVD Smile
I've heard that also Eita is staring in the movie ^^

and it was really fun when the main character went to shibuya to get rid of his geekness and the girls there laughed at him Smile

i'm guessing that the opening anime cutscenes are made specially for densha otoko which also serves as an advertisement for GONZO animation studio.

The online buddies are hilarious. I always laugh when I see the police officer and the guy with the biret. Lol.

Can you see yourself in any of those online buddies?
