I'm looking forward to this drama, although i do find the casting slightly odd, especially after having seen the chinese version. I did read alittle of the manga years ago so i don't remember it too well. but i do remember the tv drama, the lead actor in the drama was this tall, fairly good looking bloke. Although matsumoto jun is a complete cutie himself, he couldnt be more different from that chinese actor in terms of appearence. Truthfully, matsumoto jun is definetely not the kind of person whom i imagined would play Tsukasa. but i am optimistic, he is a competent actor afterall, and who knows, maybe he could put a new spin to things.
casting aside, i am really glad that japan decided to make their own version of this, since the taiwanese version is really pretty crude and cheap looking, whether its the direction(you could tell that the director was a amature), the acting(hedious acting from the entire cast), and bascially all the technical aspects were pretty bad.
to be honest..i didnt like the Taiwanese version at all. i got mad while watching it coz the acting was so bad and artificial.
but i will keep my hopes high for the Japanese version. Hana yori dango is one of my favorite anime/manga. i think only Japanese people can produce it the way it should be "originally"!

i watched mg 1 & 2 and the first is superb..lead to me falling in love with vic and jerry.. but never watched the japanese version and i thought that this drama is so old..
now matsu jun and ogari shun? is this really realy true..

it's true the drama is old but they renew it with new actor like matsujun and ogari shun. it will be air in japan on 21/10/2005

right now the vcd not yet available in malaysia 'coz the drama will be air in japan only on 21/10/05. i hope we can get it by this dec if not it will be early next year. _________________

but i did watch him in johnny's suprise concert, jun hairstyle is same as he in HYD but the hair a little bit longer. hontoni kawaii ja. when he shooting gokusen that was in 2002, now is 2005 so that was his latest hairstyle. i also like his hairstyle in gokusen but he like to make new image every year ma. what can i do. the girl in that drama is inoue mao. new actress same as matsuda shota & abe tsuyoshi. they are all new faces in japanese drama. but after u talk about gokusen i really miss sawadashin even more . i think i have to watch gokusen again _________________
