Uses of ���@(ga) and �́@(ha).... also �Ɂ@(ni) and �ց@(e)

Hi all, I'm new here... but the subject speaks for itself.

I already tried asking some Japanese people, but my voacbulary isn't good so I couldn't understand much.

When and why do I use ���@(ga) and �́@(ha)?
So far all I know is that ���@is a stronger version of ��

Also same applies with �Ɂ@and ��.
I think that �Ɂ@implies some sort of action towards an object.
Whereas �ց@is a more general form of �Ɂ@implying that no action towards an object.

I understood the general uses of the particles ���@�́@and �Ɂ@��
The problem was in what situations do we use them?

For example:

�킽���@�́@�w�q�@( �������� ) �� �����܂�

AND

�킽���@�́@�w�q�@(�@�������� )�@ ���@ �����܂�

According to some Japanese we use the 2nd sentence even though the first sentence is perfectly correct. The question is: so in which situations to we use �� and�@�Ɂ@? Oh and �́@and ���@in the same context.

Doesn't matter. Only upon preference.

In both instances provided above, either "Ni" or "He" are perfectly ok!

�́@is (as was said before) a subject marker.

�� works in the same way as a subject marker. However it has a stronger implication and is generally used when distinguishing a subject from many other subjects.

Example: �킽���@���@����
I will do it (and not anybody else)

Ok bad example, but how about this one:

When asking in a room full of people who X-san is you answer:
�͂��A�@�킽���@���@X-san
I'm X-san (not any of the other people)

Maybe this made some sense... I'll try to look up the difference between �Ɂ@and ��

Indeed your examples are very wrong and no Japanese would ever say them, for example you never use -san when refering to yourself. The site you mention has some basic details of particles, but not enough for 3��. You seem to be lacking alot of the basics of Japanese, you mentoned 3�� but have you really passed 4��? If you try to run before you can walk you will only be dissapointed. Try to find a good course or textbook, don't rely on internet sites or forums as most of the stuff is highly subjective at best and often simply wrong and very poor quality.

Well I have to admit I do most of my posts in school, so I'm rushing them. As you can imagine then that making up these examples before my classes start will tend to lead to mistakes.

Although the 4 kyuu was in December and I was late I got the papers for this year, kanji(75%) and listening(80%). I just have the reading left to be marked. It was my Japanese teacher who suggested that I take 3 kyuu.

As for textbooks, I brought mine with me Basic Japanese for College students (ICU) but being in Japan means that I'm limited to the number of Japanese learning books. I can't even order online because I have no credit card. So I tend to use the internet more. But are there any good recommendations for Japanese learning?

One more question, can I take the JLPT in UK?

Yup. There's one in London, I'm not sure if Scotland / N.I. has a separate location - but all this stuff is on the web if you Google it.

�݂�Ȃ̓��{�� is a good text, when you finish volume 2 you should be able to pass 3��.

Thanks for everyone's help. I'll try to look for that book in Hiroshima next week. They have a fairly big book store so I might be able to find it. And thanks for the website! I haven't checked it fully but I definitely need more places where I can test myself. Any other sites like that?
