and most of the second episode and I guess I can pretty well sum it up by saying:
Crapdoodle!
I had high hopes for Aya Ueto earlier on in her career. But she seems to have been working overtime to get herself on my "Avoid Watching At All Costs!" list. _________________

Well, the stuff they are showing on KTSF lately is going to drive me to DLing dramas more, I guess, or saving up to order from TechnoGirls. "Kaze no Haruka" is, I think, plodding towards its conclusion. "Fuurinkazan" hasn't grabbed me, though at least I'm not totally lost in the storyline (yet--that usually happens to me with taiga dorama, even when I know the history). I am so bored! I guess I should figure out what should be the first thing I download or order. _________________

i love it, simply entertaining. Ueto Aya is just fun, she's perfect for the role. the only thing i don't like about AP is that when starts to get slow, it becomes really slow.
it's got something that the dorama doesn't, a little romance
i'd love to see a second season for this dorama, but i doubt there's gonna be one. what's stopping it? just like what happened in Nodame Cantabile :

the main character starts an international carreer

also, episode 2 of the award-winning *pretends HYD2 didn't win anything* Kareinaru Ichizoku. I so don't understad how HYD2 could win over this
Director Manpyo's bedroom is so scary. it has 3 beds in it. One for him, one for his wife, and the other one, for his hot weternized 1960s byotch secretary that gets to have sex with him on new years eve instead of his wife... with his wife knowing everything about it. _________________
I'm watching the 5th episode of Taiyou no Uta. So far, so good.
Have you seen 1 Litre? I saw that one before watching Taiyou no Uta, and because I did, I felt like TnU more of a repeat of similar themes, and therefore didn't "feel" for the drama... tho I enjoyed it.
Finished Epi 4 of Good Luck!
Dudes... I cannot believe that Kuroki Hitomi is almost 50 years old! That girl looks AMAZING. Seriously. I'm shocked. Like... wordless shocked. _________________
@Monta: Where did you get the subs for the Attention Please Special?
Kioku fansubs
Wyn, if you can't find subs for a dorama that has a JE fruityboy in it, you should check out one of those fangirl forums like PB. They're really fast. That's where my friend got the subs for Dandori
on topic: half way through Kareinaru Ichizoku. the fact that HYD2 can actually win over this dorama is unbelieveable! _________________

I saw 1 Litre and I'm liking Taiyou a bit better. Mainly because it isn't focusing on the main character's disease as much.

I agree. Kuroki Hitomi is gorgeous and I wish I looked half as good as she does. _________________

I finished Kareinaru Ichizoku a few days ago..isn't this an amazing dorama..such powerful performances...where were they hiding the actor playing Daisuke Manpyo, the great stone face, a wonderful foil to Kimura...keep watching... _________________

Since I had the raws laying around I've been seeding (and watching a bit of...) Damenzu Walker (Damens Walker) and I was wondering if anyone had ever stumbled across English subtitles for this show.
Someone at d-addicts had volunteered to sub it when it first came out... but they never followed through. I was just wondering if anyone had found them anywhere else.
Also, since I've been wandering around for a half an hour, via our search engine, and have yet to find it, I'll ask the question:
Do we have, at JDorama, a thread that lists the locations of subs for shows... that are not posted at d-addicts? _________________
just realized, missed that one. good idea Geezer-san.
i don't often do downloads and this is a little off topic but can ask somethin? do subs go in packages with the RAWs? like if you download the dorama from a place and the subs from another that's alright? if not, how do you attach it? thx _________________
