ehh...gokurosama deshita is only used if the speaker is of higher position than the listener ie boss to subordinates...at least that is what my sensei taught...is used mainly by people of higher positions to thank their subordinates for the hard work they had put in ....

the incorrect ones are on the left, and the correct ones are on the right with some explaination...

Omedeto kudasai = congratulations | Usually said "Omedeto Gozaimasu"

kare = him | kare = boyfriend

kanojo = her | kanojo = girlfriend

ichiban = big | Actually, as far as I'm aware, ichiban literally means "the most." Often used in superlative expressions. e.g. Nihon no yumeijin no naka de, kimura-san ga ichiban kakkoi desu. Meaning: Among Japanese celebrities, kimura is the most handsome.

yori = from | From my experience, kara = from. Yori is usually used for comparison expressions. Literally means "more." e.g. Kimura-san no hou ga Takenouchi-san yori kakkoi desu. Meaning: Kimura san is more attractive than Takenouchi.

Hajimemashite, boku wa Windrider desu, Yoroshiku onegaishimasu.

Just started learning japanese not long ago, stepping into intermediate very soon.

I started with the intensive basic course at JCS and found the pace rather slow. Seriously thinking of moving.

Anyone has any good schools to recommend?

Going to NUS in about a year... (i'm in NS now) hoping to take the most intensive courses to raise my level as much as possible, so that i can hopefully take pre advance or advance in NUS and complete JLPT1 there.

what do u mean by the pace is slow?as in not much on grammer has been taught?Cause my fren actually reccommended there,she has already finished her advance classes... when you go to private ones it is v much more ex..abt twice more than the JCS and you have to wait btw classes ie when you finish elementary 1, you need to wait before they gather enough ple to start elementray 2....

no i dont mean slow in the grammar aspect. The pace at which they teach grammar is ok. But comparing their pace to other places... they dont teach katakana at all in their 5 1/2 months basic course... thus it is only possible to take JLPT 4 after u reach their intermediate course... which added to the basic course, in already one year, while at other schools u can reach JLPT4 in as fast as 4 months...

oic...well...i not too sure bt my fren took JLPT4 after finishing the basic...think my fren was taught by NUS lecturer when she is doing her advance level...but she said that even at advance level, there are ple who cant do a proper self introduction...these things always happen, wide gap in the std...and fast doesnt mean that they will lay a solid foundation for the language....most importantly they should try to cover all aspects which includes listening,speaking,writing and reading...

But It's always better to add the time when you'll do something... I guess the future form is handled a bit different then you just say it in english
