first of all, after reading chapter 486 of One Piece, i can only say, Eichiro Oda is a genius!!!

it's like he already thought of the next 100 chapters when he made the current chapter. sugoi...

i like chapter 486... i'm not sure yet, but welcome to the new member of straw hat pirates

i guessed right. the battle will begin. and i guessed wrong. Madara is actually the person who created Akatsuki. and Tobi seems to be... his brother; since he only has one eye with a sharingan. And Itachi claims to be the strongest bla bla bla and you know it's gonna turn out like Sasuke has become stronger bla bla bla so we can just see what happens in the battle

at last... one part of the story revealed

This series hasn't yet had an official English release. From what I've read, it was meant to be out in the States on dvd last year, but that been put back to some time this year.
You're right - the series is still going on.

Lol, Afro Sergeant! I haven't heard the song, but I've seen a picture of the Sergeant with an afro, which was adorable!

I'm reading volume 1 of Happy Mania by Moyoco Anno.
Ugh, I don't think the main "star" Shigeta could be any more irksome. All she does is whinge whinge whinge.
Somehow, I don't think I'll be bothering with the other volumes.

OMG - I just finished the omnibus of this last night!!!! I agree it is funny - I LOVED the humour in this manga. Reading it made me feel all happy.
My favourite character (although they are all loveable in their own way) was Sakaki. I love her "cat problem"!
What about Tomo, eh? If you knew her, you'd want to batter her for being sooo annoying.

I wanna read Kiyohiko Azuma's other main series, Yotsubato, as well. It looks fab.

hwakakak. i feel sorry for her. i love how the mangaka drew that black cat that bites Sasaki's hand.

Hehe, I loved the biting cat's look too. The jagged scary teeth were great!

Yeah, Tomo is fab...I'd still want to hit her, though.
I kept laughing every time Yomi looked like she wanted to kill Tomo for being irritating.

Manga genres I like are horror, shoujo and action.
I'm not a fan of fighting-based manga (I think Naruto is a lot of fights?)

honestly? it's boring. i don't know. it's kinda different though. but you kinda get the feeling that the mangaka is forcing the character development. each with their unique characteristics. in the end it felt the like the mangaka is pushing it a bit too much though; the characters are rather annoying and not that special. and the story is kind of blurry.

but that's just book 1. still... far from Azumanga Daioh

Hmm, well I'm no shoujo expert. I only really know Hot Gimmick, but that's enough to tell me that it's a genre I will find enyable manga in.

Oh. I was hoping for the brilliance of Azumanga Daioh. And along the same lines.
Hmm, and there's like 17 volumes, isn't there?
Will you be bothering with any more?

I had to give up Happy Mania. It was just horrible. The main character was dreadful, just whining about not having a man all the time.

I'm gonna start Gatcha Gacha tonight, which looks much better.

Funny, that�Ls one of the very few mangas I binned after 20pages . This and Honey and Bees - I only realised later that both are by Moyoco Anno. I guess I don�Lt like her stuff.

Hmm, must remember to avoid Honey and Bees.
I lasted about 55 pages of Happy Mania..I hated about 54 of those.

As well as the story and the main character being horrid, the artwork started to get on my nerves, too.

at school today, i asked my friend who also read Yotsuba. they say it get's better. but i think it's very subjective. I mean, you know how the mangaka's style is to build strong characters? well i don't seem to like any of the characters and i find them rather annoying. But it might not be for you, so you have to check it out

and yes, i'm gonna read the next 3 books on thursday (chinese new year). give my self a treat for a while. it's manga day. and also, my friends say it gets better
