Episode 2 of Ten to Sen (Points and Lines). Still a really slow-paced murder mystery, but it's still watchable, I guess. Yanagiba Toshiro's in it and I think this guy should always wear dark colored suits because he looks good in them. Otherwise, he seems like a dork. _________________

Put a better lock on your office door and you can probably get through the whole series by next week.
I...
Okay, I"ve given up on Dream Again. It's not bad, and those who like soaps might even like it.
But as I mentioned the other day... it's a remake of one of my favorite old comedies -- and they've completely missed the spirit of the original.
I might take another shot at it someday, now that I know the direction they've decided to take with the story. I'll know better than to compare it to the movie. But it's gonna be a while.
I've started Hotaru no Hikari.
It's kind of interesting. Ayase is playing a "Himono-onna", which from the first episode I take to be the female equivalent of an "Otaku".
Interesting since I just watched Densha Otoko
It also features Ryoko Kuninaka and Yuka Itaya so I'm a happy old pervert. _________________

Heh. My work comp died earlier this week, so i've been using my lappy. I hooked my LCD monitor up to it, so I have 2 screens... I just run VLC media player on the LCD monitor and keep everything else on the lappy screen. Now, if I could just stop the phone calls...
No "open/close" sign here. Maybe I should switch the lights off and hide in the dark with my internet.
And on topic: I'll be watching some Hotaru as soon as I can. I wish I brought it to work today because my boss is away.
On the topic of watching at work, I realized today that I have two pockets of opportunity to watch and their both 1.25 hours long. I could prolly watch, in total, 3 epi's a day at work!
Mind you, I'm gonna avoid doing it cause it'll interfere with my planning and my students will suffer. The things I have to sacrifice for unthankful teens.

Do what I did back when I was teaching: start an 'extra curricular' club! You never know, may get a few people interested in it after all and get them to 'expand beyond anime'.
Right now, watching Edison no Haha while at work (kinda slow right now until a huge project in a few weeks, so time to spare!), and finishing up SP as the subs come out.
A wonderful drama mostly because of Shinohara Ryoko. Even if the story is not great it does not matter, the incredible charisma of Ryoko chan transcends everything, her facial expressions are simply delightful.
I'm now rationing this drama as I don't want it to end and I can see where I will watdh it endlessly along with Churasan. I have to see everything with this incredible actress now... Just rewatched portions of Fake Bride and sure enough she has the same attraction... but I was not aware of it when it first showed on TV. Of course Haken was just as delightful too, but in Anego she really comes into her own.
She has now rocketed past Ayase to the number 2 spot in my personal Academy Award showcase nipping at the heels of Kuninaka Ryoko.
But have no fear no one will ever surpass Kuninaka Ryoko for her masterful interpretation of Eri in Churasan.

I was tempted to, and I have quite a few kids who would be interested, but I already run four clubs a week.

Like wet water.
Or dark black.
Point well received and noted.
I'm on episode 3 of IWGP. I'm really liking it. Especially the directing. _________________
