The drama itself is pretty standard but Kenichi Matsuyama is such a crack up as "Robo" he's the best otaku ever IMHO.
i agree~he's great! and so is ohgo suzuka!!
buuut i think the drama itself hat some kind of ... "flair"? XD It feels really nostalgic to watch it, and i don't know why ;;
and it's getting better in the latter episodes (maybe I'm just imagining things the more tired i get xD *doesn't want to sleep*)

Watched the last half of 5 and all of eps 6 and 7 of Lunch No Joou last night. I guess I got a little hooked
Though I have to say, I'm growing somewhat less impressed with Yuko - her role has really flattened out. Sure, every time she smiles it makes me melt, but she wasn't doing as much these last few episodes. I'm hoping she'll play a larger part in the last episodes, but I really like where the series is going.
Satoshi and the guy who plays his older brother totally rock! _________________

zannen desu, 7/10. it definitely does not deserve a 10 like it did for the first one.
one thing for sure, the script writers were not able to make a storyline that can be compared to the original one by the mangaka; it lacks depth, it's way too repetitive, they were not as good in playing the viewers' emotions, and most of all

the exact same thing is used for the last episode!!! an impossible surgery and Asada inventing a new technique
what he hell??!! say bye bye to all those expected surprises.
but i have to say, Sawano Hiroyuki is the maestro, and the new line of casts weren't bad either. So it's still a worth watching dorama, but it's definitely dissapointing compared to Iryu 1 _________________
There's no way that would've happened to end the SP: It would've implied that there would be another SP continue the story... There's no way they were going to let things end with those two breaking up.
No way.
well it would actually be a huge shock. people would go "whhaaatt??!!" and they'd be desperate to watch what'd happen next like hell . And din't they leave the impression that there would actually be Nodame 2 or another SP?

with the whole mystery S-Oke new conductor?
maybe they can make it like Kouhaku. Nodame SP every new year _________________

Last Friends episode 1
can't judge yet. but the opening scene was one of the coolest ones i've ever seen; white outfits, Utada Hikaru song. very cool
Agreed - I think the intro was one of the neatest parts. I was sad when about 1/4 of the way through the series they didn't show the whole thing and longer _________________

You'll get sick of the song eventually, since apparently it's the only track (along with the instrumental version) in the entire drama...
lol it somehow was the same with "Flavour of life" in HYD 2 xD Plus the refrain came always so suddenly that I got a shock every time, plus it ruined the mood D:

I've just finished Last Friends epi 7. I've been taking breaks between each episode the avoid trashing my mac.
I think I'll try to watch the 8th right now...
A true marathon - impressive.
And apparently you've done about as much as I have today - I feel so useless ;-) I did go to the farmer's market this morning.. but I really haven't done much at all. Maybe I'll try to get in another ep. of Lunch No Joou tonight. _________________

LOL! No, not really. I mean, I'd already seen 4 episodes before, so I've only seen three since. Well, four, now that I've finished epi 8.
I'm gonna finish the rest tomorrow. The ending of epi 8 was grand and I want the feeling to last, since I know it's gonna go down from here. _________________
