GReeeeN (�O���[��, Gurīn?, also known as The Green) is a four-member Japanese vocal group from Kōriyama city in Fukushima prefecture, made up of the members Hide, Navi, 92, and Soh. They made their debut with Universal Music in 2007. Their logo image is of a mouthful of teeth, and the 4 e's indicate the number of members. The sound production is handled by Hide's older brother JIN, a member of Pay Money To My Pain.

One notable characteristic is that none of the members have ever shown their faces in the public sphere as a part of GReeeeN, whether in their promotional videos, CDs, television performances, or the Internet. In their only performance on TV-U Fukushima's music show Music Bar Palo Palo (broadcast on January 19, 2007), the group even went as far as censoring their faces during the performance. GReeeeN cites keeping their professional lives in dentistry compatible with their musical ventures as the reason, but one of the members, Hide, has hinted that after all of the members pass the state examination in dentistry and receive permission from the directors of the hospitals they work for, the group may consider a public appearance.

All members studied at the dentistry department at Ohu University, in Fukushima prefecture, (Hide, Navi, and 92 have all graduated, only Soh is still in school), and the group debuted while still in school in 2007.

im so happy upon the news that GReeeeN will be having another drama tie-in which means new single!! yay!! they'll be making the theme song for FujiTV's upcoming Monday drama for winter season, "Voice".. there's a short preview of the song on the drama's CM..i already love it!! LMAO
seems that the title of it is "Ayumi", just realized about it upon checking CDJapan..hehehe..to be released on January 28..

Oral care products produced by Greeeen to be sold in stores

Oral care products produced by GReeeeN will be sold in stores nationwide starting September 1.

As you may know, all members of GReeeeN are dentists. When they're not in their office or carrying out their activities as GReeeeN, they are researching ways to improve dental technology. The products that they produced are toothbrush, antibacterial interdental brush, Y-shaped mint-flavored dental floss, and portable mouthwash. For the toothbrush, GReeeeN focused on brushes that are easy and effective to use for plaque removal. It contain 3 rows of extra fine bristles.

GreeeeN to release concept album and go on tour

GReeeeN will release a concept album titled 'C, D desuto?!' on June 10th. In addition, they have launched a special website called "9 Shunen dayo! 10 Shunen Mae Year! ~Rainen Bokutachi 10-sai desu~".

"C, D desuto?!" will be a compilation of the songs that GReeeeN wants their fans to listen to right now. DISC 1, called "Chikagorono A-men B-men Best", will include all singles and its coupling tracks the group has released in the recent years. Meanwhile, DISC 2, called "Dear&Friend", will contain songs that the members chose with the concept "Dear & Friend".

The album will be released in 4 different types: "Live toka Tanoshimu Goods Tsuki Ban" (Version with goods to enjoy lives), "Mite Kiite Tanoshimu Ban" (Version to enjoy by watching and listening), "Tappuri Kiku! Otokuban" (Fully listen! Value version), and "1-mai de Tanoshimu Ban" (Enjoy with just one CD). After the "Tappuri Kiku! Otokuban" sells out, there will be a Regular Edition on sale.

From July to August, GReeeeN will hold a nationwide tour titled "GReeeeN TOUR 2015!: 9 Shunen dayo! 10 Shunenme Mae Tour!~9SJ~". They are scheduled to hold a total of 10 shows starting on July 19th at Zepp Sapporo.

GreeeeN to release new single 'Sakamoto'

GReeeeN will release a new single titled "SAKAMOTO" on August 19.

Besides the title track, the single will include "KARAKARA", which was written as the theme song for GReeeeN and Yomiuri Land's collaboration 'YomiUReeeeN Land', as the coupling track. Prior to the CD's release, the song will be released on iTunes Store, Recochoku, and other music distributing sites on July 15.

GreeeeN announces first single for 10th anniversary year

GReeeeN have announced the release of their first single to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary year in 2017.

Titled "Yume", the song has been picked up to be used in the CM for "Career Tasu Shuukatsu 2017" starring Tsuchiya Tao. The members of GReeeeN wrote this song to cheer for students in search for jobs as well as for people chasing after their dreams. mayula, who participated in GReeeeN's 2007 song "Machi", lends her voice for the chorus.

"Yume" is slated for release on February 24. The single's limited edition will come with a DVD containing the PV for the title track.

GreeeeN announce 2nd single of 10th anniversary year

GreeeeN have announced the release of their 2nd single which will commemorate their 10th anniversary year.

Titled "Hajimari no Uta", the single will be in stores on March 10. The song has been picked up as the 2016 Spring CM song for "Able" starring Tao Tsuchiya and Yuta Takahata.

The coupling track will be "Meshi I GOT IT" which was used as the theme song for Hokkaido Rice Sales Promotion Committee CM 'Hokkaido Rice Love'.

GReeeeN and Misia collaborate for the first time

The theme song for the TBS drama 'Gibo to Musume no Blues' will be a collaboration between GReeeeN and Misia entitled "Ai no Katachi featuring HIDE (GReeeeN)". The single will be released on August 22nd.

"Ai no Katachi featuring HIDE (GReeeeN)" is a love song written and composed by GReeeeN and member HIDE participates in the chorus.

GreeeeN to release new album in 2021

GReeeeN will release their new album "Bokutachi no Denko Sekka" on January 6, 2021.

This comes a little over a year after the band released their last album "Daikyu." It will contain a total of seven songs including "Hoshikage no Yell" which is currently being used as the theme song for NHK's morning drama 'Yell.' On November 27, their new song "Yura Yura" will be available for download.
