Atsuko Maeda to hold concerts in Tokyo and Osaka
Maeda Atsuko will hold live concerts on April 3rd at Zepp Tokyo and on the 4th at Zepp Osaka.
The two concerts will be held to commemorate the release of her new single "Seventh Chord" which will hit stores on March 5th. This will be Maeda's first time performing alone at venues of the Zepp class.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on March 22nd. Those who purchase a copy of "Seventh Chord" will have the chance to pre-reserve tickets starting March 5th at 6:00 pm.

Atsuko Maeda to star in NTV 2015 Summer drama
Maeda Atsuko will play the role of Kyoko, the heroine in the upcoming NTV Summer 2015 drama "Do Konjo Gaeru" which stars Matsuyama Kenichi. She commented that she had prior knowledge of the manga and her mother was very happy when Maeda told her about the offer. In the drama which is set 16 years after the manga, the lead character Hiroshi will be 30 years old while Kyoko who is his only love, will be 29 years old. Upon reuniting with Kyoko after a long time, Hiroshi realises that her old self is nowhere to be found and hopes to do something about it.
Co-stars also include Katsuji Ryo who plays Goro, Mitsuishi Ken who plays the owner of "Takarazushi", Denden who plays Hiroshi's former form teacher Machida, Shirahane Yuri who plays Yoshiko-sensei, Arai Hirofumi who plays Gorilla Imo and Yakushimaru Hiroko who plays Hiroshi's mother. An original character, Kyoko's grandmother will be played by Shiraishi Kayoko.

Atsuko Maeda and Ryo Katsuji were married on July 30th.
On the 31st, the couple sent a fax announcement, "We are both immature, but we hope to build a cheerful family full of laughter. From now on, we will support each other to sincerely face the work given to us. It would make us happy if you would watch over us warmly."

Atsuko Maeda has announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
Maeda married actor Ryo Katsuji last July. Reportedly, she has already entered her stable period and is in good health. As to her work, her agency said, "She plans to continue within her limits."

Atsuko Maeda, an original member of all-girl pop group AKB48, has given birth to a baby boy, her first child, her husband said Monday.
“I’d like to report that a baby boy was safely born the other day,” 32-year-old actor Ryo Katsuji, Maeda’s husband, posted to his Instagram account Monday morning, adding that both mother and baby are in good health.

Atusko Maeda and Ryo Katsuji divorce
On April 23rd, Atusko Maeda updated her Instagram account announcing that she has divorced her husband, Ryo Katsuji.
Maeda and Katsuji tied the knot in July of 2018 after co-starring in the drama 'Dokonjo Gaeru' (2015) and movie 'Taberu Onna' (2018). They had their first child in March of 2019.
Maeda wrote, "It's a personal matter, but I, Maeda Atsuko would like to announce that after repeated discussions with Katsuji Ryo-san, we submitted our divorce registration papers the other day." She continued, "During our three years of marriage, there were differences in our lifestyle and values, and little by little, our pace and direction started to change so we decided to take different paths. Although we are no longer husband and wife, we will always be the father and mother to our only son, so we will do our best to raise him together. I will use these experiences to work harder as Maeda Atsuko and as an actress, so please continue to support me as well as Katsuji Ryo-san."
