as i recall, there was a lot of crying, and it was somewhat depressing,
i thought it was ok though. Masami Nagasawa was in the movie-version, and Ayase Haruka was in the drama-version.

Ayase Haruka and Yamada Takayuki starred in Byakuyako after SekaChuu. w00t!
I also liked both the drama and the movie version. The movie came out first so the drama elaborated on more things.
both were still depressing. Shameful Cry

With Kaeru no Ouju-sama winding down have started Legal High as well.

Didn't recognize Yui Aragaki at first with her short hair. Eiko Koike though "stood out" as usual.

But seriously, I like Sakai, he's a fine actor, he was excellent in the movie Chef of the South Pole.

Finished Toshi Densetsu no Onna. I think anyone who likes Japanese myths will find it entertaining enough.

Restarted Keitai Sousakan 7. I tried to watch it a year ago but couldn't get myself to get past the fourth episode (out of 45). After picking it up again, I'm really enjoying it. I'm through 23 episodes so far.

Toshi Densetsu no Onna is really interesting. Its cute, dorky and nothing serious. I enjoyed it a lot since I like Japanese Myths.

Legal High keeps on getting better and better. Episode 9 was a really strong episode the last few minutes was especially great! Awesome job by Sakai Masato! Applaud

Currently rewatching Dekichatta Kekkon. Mr Green

Watching Hancho 5 (not quite sure what to think of the new cast yet), Kagi No Kakkata Heya (better than I thought it would be), Mikeneko Holmes No Suiri (not as good as I hoped it would be), and Answer~Keishichou Kenshou Sosakan (growing on me).

Up thru episode 8 of "Legal High". Honestly, I almost dropped this one. The first five episodes Sakai was just way too over the top, but I saw that Kyoka Suzuki was going to be in episode 6 so I figured I'd stick it out for one more episode and I'm glad I did.

With episode 6 a lot of the silliness stopped and it's been pretty good since then. I noticed in DramaWiki that they had two different directors and that's the only thing I can attribute the change to.

Finished "Legal High" and all it's silliness, now have started "Mother" and judging by the first episode I don't think I'll be using the word "silly" for awhile.

Up thru episode 7 of "Mother". I notice this drama was written by Yuji Sakamoto who also wrote "Soredemo, Ikite Yuku", "Watashitachi no Kyokasho"(a cpuple of fairly intense dramas), "Last Christmas" and "Tokyo Love Story".

He also wrote "Topcaster". Can't win 'em all.
