From Betsy-chan: Another great dress, but I dunno about those shoes. hehe

I'm still lovin' that pink and blue pastel dress most of all. I mean, I SERIOUSLY want that. And I don't even wear dresses. I own like, 2 skirts. I'd probably look like $h!t in it, but that dress is so awesome it would just be great to have in my closet. Naughty

Anyway, about this pic...hmm. The dress that shows the back, great back for a dress! Kinda unique! But the dress she's wearing in the boots, a bit to babydollish for my taste. I was gonna say the boots had potential to be really hot, but with the high platform, I feel like the boot needs to be longer, to the middle of her calf at least. It seems kinda, uneven.. BUT, one of the boot tops is falling down her leg. Compare the right and left. Her right boot looks best.

So ends my fashion critique for today hehe

Yeah, the backless job is really really nice. Makes you wonder what the front looks like... Naughty

Okay, the other dress is babydoll-ish, but it would be more impressive without those distracting, asymmetric shoes. I don't know why women like those things... Freaky. bleh

My rebuttal. Smile

LOL, I am a huge fan of high heels, especially w/ platforms. My back heel including the platform won't exceed 4.5 inches. But yeah, those are a bit freakish. But it's for pictures Wink I have similar shoes w/ the stretchy-boot design. But no ties or crap, and they aren't nearly as tall. I wear them w/ a long skirt, slacks, or even jeans. w00t! Her boots, I probably wouldn't have put them w/ a short skirt/dress like that. Maybe that;s the style, I dunno Beaten

Don't get me wrong: I like it when women wear heels, particularly pumps (but no super-duper spikes, that's too dominatrix-y), and maybe with a slight platform, but those suckers are outrageous. It's like something the bride of Frankenstein would wear. Beaten

Hmm. *intrigued*

Agreed. A bad combination. If that's style, it's ugly style. Sweat

I don't know how to respond w/out going off topic Doh! Oh well, I can't. But yes, I'm a shoe queen. I love almost every type of shoe: sneakers (not so many nowadays..don't wanna look like I'm going to the moon, okthxbye), mules, platforms, dress boots, work boots, almost anything. I probably own in total at least 50 pairs of shoes. And yeah, that will not stop me from buying shoes.

I'm a stereotypical woman that way. Doh! Oops. Grumble Yeah, and I do like purses too. But, no. I do not spend a lot of money on them. Last year, the most I spend on 1 pair of shoes was $75...and they were Steve Madden w00t! Oh yeah, and my Tim's are usually about $70, I buy them annually. Beaten

But yeah, no to Ryoko's boots w/ that dress. I think they'd look nice mostly covered so you'd see a little less than from the ankle and down. A nice pair of jeans, bootcut black slacks, or a long black skirt. But, that is my style Bonk

Okies, I'll let ya's get back to your piccies now, gomen Not telling ya!

I wouldn't worry about it. I, unlike some folk around here am not anal about staying on topic... It's a discussion board, not a paid seminar on how to get rich quick or some crap like that...

Besides, this discussion isn't that way off base....

Yow. That a lot of odor-eaters... Sweat hehe

Well, actually I meant no to the boots completely. Lose 'em, Burn 'em. Throw 'em into the Grand Canyon. Something....

LOL, they would be better w/ shorter heels. I was just talking about IF the shoes had to be used, how they would be used. Mr Green I wouldn't wear them myself. No. Like I said, kinda freakish...but they can be worked with possibly.

I don't think Ryoko-san is wearing a pair of boots but wearing some black mary jane platform with long black socks. If you look a little closer, you can kind of see the buckles for the shoes. If this is so, I think her dress will look better if she didn't wear any socks, which will be kinda cute IMO. This is my own two cents on the picture. Big Grin

You're right! Upon close inspection, those are like knee-high socks with those mondo platform shoes. But those shoes are still klunky. Beaten

I do admit that the shoes are kinda chunky, but I think it would look a lot better if she didn't wear it with the socks, it would be alot cutier that way without all the black. Big Grin
