Personally, I'd rather see him spend life in general population. Then that way, the other inmates will handle him the way they see fit, if you know what I mean...
By having him stay in death row, he's totally isolated from the rest of San Quintan, and is therefore protected until they execute him. The way things are running in California, he'll have a much MUCH longer sentence in death row than in general pop.
Executing this numb-nut is much too easy of a way for him. I'd rather see him face the other criminals there, where the utencils are of an abundance (broom handles, rusted knives, flamable liquids, etc.)
The sad thing is that the actual execution (should it occur) won't happen for many years. With the appeals process and the fact there are many more on death row ahead of Scott, it'll be decades before it goes through.
Right on the mark.... The so-called "Death Penalty" is a sham. He'll never get the needle in his arm in our lifetime...

so true, groink. i mean, the man deserves no less. i was watching something on cnn, and they mentioned that one of the things that pretty much was his undoing was his ARROGANCE the entire way. i have to admit that's true. it's not so much if he looks guilty or not (bcuz we can only speculate if it's true), but he sure as heck doesn't look like someone who just had a wife and child MURDERED.

I know that there are several people on here who live in Indonesia, Malasia and perhaps some of the other areas where the earthquakes and tsunami devastated regions and killed over 20,000 people. I'm hoping that you and your families (and relatives) are safe and managed to survive this ordeal!

Thanks guys for all the pray and concern.
I'm OK here in Jakarta (Java island), but it's such a tragedy for my fellow Indonesian in Aceh and North Sumatra region (Sumatra island and small islands near Sumatra).
One of my dear friend (and I think she's also one of JDorama's fans), an Indonesian student who studies in Malaysia. Her family is living in Banda Aceh (Aceh region) and until now she hasn't hear any news from her family back home since all communication line has been shut down.
Let's pray for the safety of her family.

What a terrible tragedy. I ran into an old friend yesterday she is from Indonesia, Luckily her family was all o.k. but her cousins house was ruined. I hope everyone that we have not heard from yet is o.k. _________________

I just read the news on CNN and what they found in Aceh... and also they are expecting the death toll to climb up to 60,000. At midnight it was 26,000 and now it's around 34,000... this is terrible news.
For those in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia or countires that felt it, do you feel earthquakes there often or was this the first time in your life? Where were you when it happened?
I live in California and I felt 4-6 but I can't imagine a 9.0 earthquake.
