BMW, u mentioned in the Dotch Thread that u didn't like Olive Garden, does that mean you don't like their bread and salads 2???? I find those two most worth eating over at Olive Garden, thats how i get full when i go there, it saves me from eating pasta filled with thick and heavy sauces
I just don't consider them a real Italian restaurant... I don't like those breadsticks of theirs: I want nice, crunchy garlic bread...
And if you're gonna eat Italian, you gotta have pasta... You can get salad and bread anywhere, like Soup Plantation...

I remember reading a pretty scathing review a while back that said pretty much the same thing ... that an Italian wouldn't consider the Olive Garden to be Italian food.
It reminds me of the scene in "The Big Blue" where Jean Reno, says uh oh, if my momma sees me eating this she'll kill me, and passes his plate of Frutti del Mare to Roseanna Arquette and she digs in. Then the waiter brings her order. Ha ha.
So. I've been experimenting with cold-brewing coffee, and if I do say so myself, it will make even cheap coffee nice and smooth. Just put grounds in water, pop it in the fridge, and strain it the next day. You can make it very concentrated so you can just dilute to you favorite octane. Serve with ice, or nuke it hot. Yum.

Cold-brewing?? Like biiru??
I'm one of those oddballs: I don't drink coffee... I've had one cup my entire life. And it was awful... Interestingly, I like the smell of coffee, freshly ground or brewing... But the taste? Bleah.
BTW, I'm having a bowl of Dreyer's Real Strawberry ice cream... Yum.

I was told by my friends that Strawberry is the #1 flavor of ice cream, but i still think Mint Chocolate Chip is. I got me Carmel Delight this time to try it out cuz its Dreyer's new flavor

Not to rain on your parade, but did you notice that container of Dreyer's ice cream is only 1.75 quarts and not the two quarts (half gallon) it used to be?? So you're paying the same price for less ice cream...
If you buy a store brand, like Albertson's, it's still two quarts. Grrr.

That's exactly what Dreyer's was hoping for... Tricky, ne?
And I think they're doing that for a lot of other products too...

That's a smart business move, IMO. They know that the mass will still purchase their product(s) even though they've changed the "terms".
We can only expect others to follow the same business venture in due time.
It sucks for us, but rakes in more profits for them. I'd do the same if I were a business owner. _________________

How about coffee ice cream?
I don't know about cold-brewed beer. They don't boil the malt and hops? Weird.
Well, by not drinking coffee, you'll probably live longer. I should probably cut down. Oh well.
I've been having the same lunch since I started the internship. Different salads and breads everyday, from chicken pasta salad to greek. Having the freedom of choosing what to eat is actually difficult than I thought. I just ate what they had in the daily menu at school but at work, aargh! I just don't know what to eat, eating the same salads everyday, I might grow hating the greens New taste in bread today, garlic roasted bread!
