Just finished episodes 4-7 of Seikei Bijin... Talk about getting put through an emotional wringer... But I'm loving it so far... Big Grin

The music has been terrific... Much better than the overrated music from Love Revolution...

On to episode 8!!!!! Big Grin

Hehe! Bet you seen the scene where Ryoko says "It's not size D, it's F! F!" hehe

Music good? Not much of it. The two vocal songs are played. Suga Shikao - Assymetry is irritatin cos it's frequently played durin the series.

I have listened to Love Revolution OST, haven't watched the series. The songs are pretty good, R&B oriented Smile Ken Hirai, hehe! He doesn't look like a native Japanese.

Yep, that was a good line/scene... I'm really impressed on how she can do the comedy schtick and drama... And switch back and forth quite easily...

Maybe that's why I like it. hehe The music shouldn't overpower the show...

The theme/opening track bugs me... A poor R&B imitation, IMO...

Just finished Seikei Bijin episodes 8-11... Wow, I finished that entire series in less than three days... But it was worth it... A funny and sad romantic story... Highly recommended... And of course, Ryoko-chan was absolutely adorable... If it's possible, I love her even more... hehe Lovey Eyes Bonk In love

I am recently watching Sleeping Forest after viewing Ice World, GTO, Love Generation, Tokyo Love Story, and Long Vacation.

I have to say that Long Vacation is the best amongst all of them. It left you a good feeling that none other JDorama has done.

Love Generation is ok, it IS a direct rip-off of Tokyo Love Story, as DIRECT as you can get, except the ending is happier. I liked Takuya Kimura a lot more in Long Vacation, he is just not as good in the other dramas. I find that he is better at playing shy, honest, traditionally Japanese kid role then a cocky, cool guy. Coolness exudes from him in Long Vacation, but in Love Generation, where he is supposed to be COOL, just seemed "trying too hard."

GTO is excellent and funny. Tokyo Love Story is an old classic, very dated to watch now, still good though.

Needless to say, you can tell Long Vacation is my favorite. It is the best Jdorama I have seen, the cast, the story, the mood (more the mood and the cast than the story), that's what Jdoramas should be.

ahhh.. I had dl'd Gosuken #1 off of newsgroup but I didn't extract it until after the files disappeared off newsgroup and I realized I didn't have the .rar and I didn't dl any par files oops! So now I just hope someone still have a .par file or maybe that one .rar miraculously (and replies to my request lol!) so I don't have to redownload Shake Head ~ bandwidth so precious with dl caps!

but if I get file I'll watch gosuken too! reviews on this site seem to say it really good!!

I'm watching Love generation.

And gradually falling in love with Matsu takako.

I think I like her character so much just because she's not your typical "cute" character. You can tell by her some of her antics that she really is a deep and thoughtful character. Like, for example, when she finds out Teppei lied to her, and he attempts to explain himself, all she asks is "I don't care what you're telling me. All I need to know is that you love me." Lovey Eyes

I mean, that is extremely cheesy, but for some reason, I still found it refreshing. In most dramas, if there's some sort of misunderstanding, the guy will chase the girl (or vice verse) and explain the circumstances, and then the misunderstanding gets resolved. But in this case, Takako makes the misunderstanding irrelevant, and that's what makes her so pure to me. You can tell she really trusts him....

THe only misgiving I have with the series is that it doesn't make sense to me that Takako got dumped at the beginning of the series. I mean, who would dump a girl like that? I mean, C'MON!
