Yeah, basically, they weren't popular enough. They released 5 singles and had a couple of advertising contracts, but they didn't make it big enough. Their last performance together was in March 2001.

However Aya managed to get herself a role in Kinpachi Sensei 6. Luckily, the hard-hitting role and excellent performance she gave was enough to restart her career. Interestingly, Kitamura wanted her for the role of Azumi before Kinpachi was shown as he felt she had the right look, but it wasn't until Kinpachi was airing that the producers were convinced she was the right choice.
