overall. she's a great actress.

amanda bynes can't act. not really. to me. but she can be a real comedian in shorter flims. not movies.

People really are cruel when it comes to someone who is a celebrity. No one would dare say this about anyone they actually knew, and most certainly not to their face.

I highly doubt Britney Spears has gone bankrupt. She's started a perfume line which seems to be doing well, has always had fairly successful sales rates and always seemed to please her fans in concert. She's not in the scene as much because she's a mother (also, quite frankly, she made a killing early on in her career). And being a mother who also is a celebrity automatically equals having to spend more money to keep her privacy. So if Britney and Kevin managed to both not spend more than a million dollars a year, it'd be amazing. The taxes and cost of living as a major celebrity for one year are horrendous. Still, I think she makes out OK.

I don't know if I would say Britney is any dumber...or smarter...than half the people here on Jdorama. She must've done something right, no? After all, she's the one who can buy her mother a flashy $800,000 sports car on a Saturday in cash, and most of you all are not. So she seems to be pretty savvy to me.

As for Kevin, haven't we seen a million people leave an ex--while pregnant--for someone else? If he didn't see his ex, I'd be a bit worried that he would never see his child, creating more problems for a kid who wants a father figure.

I am kind of shocked that anyone would say that a mother with a child DESERVES to be poor and bankrupt because she's a bad dancer and has gained 20 pounds.

Interestingly enough, Amuro Namie leads a fairly similar life in the tabloids. People saying she looks haggardly, saying she isn't taking care of her kid properly and blah blah. Yet no one wants to make Asian stars seem so villainous on Jdorama--or is that just me? Perhaps if BoA were to go bankrupt, we could say she deserved it because quite frankly, she wasn't that hot to begin with without eyelid surgery, lots of lost pounds and a nice backing track to go over her nasal voice. Now the BoA fans will come attack.

While you make some valid points in your defense of Brittney and Kevin's life style. I personally don't know of too many men celebrity or otherwise who have left a pregnant woman (and their 2nd child at that) for another woman. The fact that Kevin left his partner while she was pregnant spoke volumes about his character. He could have a least waited until after his child was born.
