Wah-hoo. My cable company hath added two more channels to mine line-up (w/what I pay, heh, THEY BETTER, muhuhahahahah! Ahem. Anyway). One is IATV (methinks the initials translate to "InterAsian Television") -- pretty neat. They're showing Winter Sonata right now and I watched a subtitled Korean hip-hop concert thingee whilst falling alseep last night. Quite promising. With that channel and AZN television, I'll have more access to some Asian music vids, TV series, movies, and other stuffs than I can shake my hashi at; I stress "some." After all, I still depend on the local Hawaii International Film Festival for my latest and greatest Asian film fixes.

The other channel is "Sleuth." Kinda' like fictitious murder-mystery TV's answer to the Sci-Fi' channel. They're airing old The Equalizer episodes! Yah-hoo!!! Man, if I can be 1/2 as cool as Robert McCall is in his fancy suits and Jaguar kuruma, and kickin' bachelor pad (and fightin' injustice all the while, not to mention) in my old years, me be quite happy.

Anyway.

well a 5k is about 3.1 miles, i usually take about a little over 35 min to run that, about just under 12min/miles pace. I consider myself a slow runner, but i am working on improving the time and distance.

I ran a 10k-6.2 miles in an hour and 9 min, before, but it was tough. I hope to do another one soon, but i need to train myself for that.

Annoying someone via the Internet is now a federal crime.

It's no joke. Last Thursday, President Bush signed into law a prohibition on posting annoying Web messages or sending annoying e-mail messages without disclosing your true identity. ...

and for more fire related news... hehe

Mouse Thrown Into Fire Sets Home Ablaze
Jan 9, 12:46 PM (ET)

FORT SUMNER, N.M. (AP) - A mouse got its revenge against a homeowner who tried to dispose of it in a pile of burning leaves. The blazing creature ran back to the man's house and set it on fire.

Luciano Mares, 81, of Fort Sumner said he caught the mouse inside his house and wanted to get rid of it.

"I had some leaves burning outside, so I threw it in the fire, and the mouse was on fire and ran back at the house," Mares said from a motel room Saturday.

Village Fire Chief Juan Chavez said the burning mouse ran to just beneath a window, and the flames spread up from there and throughout the house.

No was hurt inside, but the home and everything in it was destroyed.

Unseasonably dry and windy conditions have charred more than 53,000 acres and destroyed 10 homes in southeastern New Mexico in recent weeks.

"I've seen numerous house fires," village Fire Department Capt. Jim Lyssy said, "but nothing as unique as this one."
