actually i got to know densha otoko through the movie...then when i search the movie info in here, it only has the drama info...

i've watched the movie, maybe im biased cos i think the drama is better =x the movie has only like 6-7 people helping densha and the drama, woah~the movie is much more realistic thou and that means less funny haha........and in the movie densha has the GITS:Innocence poster on his door =x
wonder how the remake would be....hmm......maybe the guy from napoleon dynamite???


but then, im not a fan of japanese movies, i prefer drama, so.......

i think TU, provided that link to me, has a bunch of anime series, but lots of them started in the middle or end of the series, i can't watch that, i need to start from ep1...lol

yeah it is so funny, so is the special ep, guitar otoko.

Yeah I just finished watching the drama today and wow it was so good. Being a well rounded otaku it was a refreshing story. I loved how funny it was in the beginning and how heart warming it got to the end. All the little touches too made this drama especially entertaining, from the GONZO intro, to the Imperial March tone, and the numa numa song got a chuckle from me.

From start to finish it was something that I enjoyed. It was especially entertaining to read the real respones from the 2channers and to see some of the lines word for word in the drama. I really hope that it was real to some extent of the real postings cause it was a really happy story.

As a final note, Densha Otoko really opened the doors for me to JDramas and I now really want to watch some of the other ones. Well take care.

Today, i just finished my second round trip for densha otoko. for this kind of movie, i would liket to watch it twice or maybe more, really.. worth the time.

i thought i might be the first one to post something about it after the last one several months earlier, seems like i am wrong.. im amazed at how many posts this topic have.. what a great movie it is then..

well, i thought that if Densha is substituted with a cooler and more handsome guy, this movie will be totally amazing, specially when he finally be with the Angel.. but then, if it is that kind of guy, not this Yamada Tsuyoshi, probably this movie will lose the sense of OTAKU and so i threw away my humble point of view. though sometimes i hate that otaku for his mimic when he was doing conversation with Hermes-tan and when he confessed his feeling... i thought he at least has to stand firm and able to confess properly without shaking, crying, and expressing his patheticness... i was wrong from the very first, he didnt.. i was so dissapointed .. but then, the words flowing out from his mouth made all my mind concentrated on them, not the mimic and such thingy.. if there is one thing that he lacks on, it is his figure and mimic. if there is one thing he is good at, it is at expressing the sentences - how beautifully attached ... aniway, with that on mind, ive lost the feeling of disgust towards the actor... good for me and for him i guess .

at the end, i just wanna say that this is a very great movie.... im honestly moved and touched at my heart. nonetheless, i couldnt let my tears rolled down, jannen desu... out of 10 i wil say this movie worth 8 of them at least.

this is my first time posting review about j-dorama... hope i dont let anyone who read this get bored.. hehe... certainly hope so... and looking forward to post for others as well, that is if i can lay my hand on other dorama.... it is very difficult for me, and most people in indonesia. the IT infrastructure is not that good yet. therefore, a FLAT RAID connection seems almost impossible and extremely expensive. ive managed to get hold at a 1GB conn lately... the performance is not that good, so sad.. .... i wonder if there are people from around indonesia too, specially Jakarta, who can share some doramas. haha....

o yeah, wanna ask something..... since i dont understand japanese (just know few words), i wonder what is a -TAN behind a name mean..
dare mo oshiete kuremaska? --> does this even close to what i mean??? hehe ( i wonder why he said HERMES-TAN instead of -SAN or else, can anybody please tell me)....

and another, how can i translate
"You make my life bright and sparkling" ? ? ?

i never heard that there is a movie for densha otoko till i read it in this forum.. and so as an answer to that, i watched the drama... so, is the movie as good as the drama??? i understand that when you watch a good film, you will want it to be as long as possible, as detail as possible and so you dont have to part with it just yet. sometimes i watch an OVA of anime and find it very frustrating coz it ended so sudden and there isnt much about anything inside, just a tiny bit of everything is present. well, it is indeed enough but then im not satisfied.

so tell me, YT, is the movie interesting??? does it show us a different angle of densha otoko or it just summarize the drama and pack it into a 3 hours one??
