Congratulations! I missed the show yesterday, but he sure looked ready for the medal on the short program
Ohhh my, the womens cross snowboard was today? I totaly forgot
Indeed, congratulations Bulgaria and Russia.
Right now, Norway, Germany, Russia, Canada, and the USA are the top 5 medal earners thus far.
Who has the most gold out of all of 'em?!? Heh, why the USA, of course. On a side note, nice to see we're earning gold in the snowboarding events introduced in this Winter 'lympics.
At first, I was skeptical, but, last night's snowboarding event shown on TV was pretty neat. Had it all -- the bumpy rides of moguls, the crash and bang of speedskating, the curving slides of bobsledding. I know, sounds lame, but, it's something you gotta' see. 'Tis fun.

Remember the big push to go metric?
Just what I was thinking about when I put the list together.
And by the way... just to show you how stubborn people can be, I won't allow any of my guys to bring a metric tape measure, or set of calipurs into my shop.
Too easy to get things screwed up. _________________

Hmmmmm, the italian pair first after dance compulsory? I wish there was backstage cameras to capture the grimace of Tatiana Navka . And hurray bulgarians Denkova/Stavinski are third, good start, looked like they are really enjoying the dance

i think i'll stay home tho, watching on TV is fine for me
Well Vancouver is a long drive away from here. And considering the Canadians speak English, I don't think I would have any language barriers there. Not to mention I attended the World's Expo in Vancouver in 1986.

I just watched how this Lindsey Jacobellis (USA) screwed up to win gold at the Cross Women Snowboarding, cos she wanted to do a fancy jump off the last ramp: but she ended outside the track, just before the finish while she was 4-5 seconds in front of everyone (cos they fell). she ended up winning Silver.
I saw that on the news report... The price you pay for showboating.
As famed Lakers announcer Chick Hearn (RIP) would say, "the mustard came off the hot dog...!"
