SMAP and new work premier position! New record establishment of plural group original albums!
�@The new album 'Pop Up which is after 1 years of SMAP! SMAP' acquiring the premier position with first appearance. The sale of sale first week with 32.1 ten thousand, exceeded since debutting recorded as an original album '30.5 ten thousand of SMAP 016/MIJ' of 2003 June sale, the highest,<Chart below reference>.

yeah...me too. SMAP ins the only group that still standing together in more than 10 years....what is the secret that make them still being together until now?

Simple : Just because they are brothers, REAL BROTHERS wont break even if there are many difficulties, rite? Like in 2001 Goro's incident and the time when Kimura married... Everyone tot they will disband but they didnt... This shows that nobody can seperate them... _________________

15 years, and that not counting the fact that they've been together even longer than that...
They've gone through lots of struggles. While juniors (starting from KinKi Kids) have had it relatively easy to debut and making a name for themselves (except for K8 who went through almost as much struggles), SMAP was passed on over and over again before debuting. There's a time when concert promoters didn't want them to perform because they didn't think SMAP was good enough, to the point that Kimura-kun once said bitterly, "If we become better, would u let us debut?"
Then they finally debuted, but not until their 11th single reached the top 10 that the public finally recognized them truly. Before that, Johnny reportedly gsve up on SMAP to the point of leaving them in the hand of their manager (who now has become the most influential and powerful manager in JE), and themselves. Success certainly didn't come easy for these guys.
A lot of other incidents happened since then, with the top 3 biggest being Mori leaving SMAP in 1996, Kimura's marriage to Kudo in 2000, and Goro's arrest in 2001. But then, they just keep getting stronger and stronger.
Why? Because they've got the desire to PROVE everybody wrong, they've got PERSEVERANCE to stay together despite turbulent years, and they've got DETERMINATION to be No.1. You know what they say, that people who're brought together by severe challenges in life tend to stick together most of the time? Well, it seems to be true for SMAP. Now, tell me which other groups can claim that they've stand the roughest times and still making music together apart from SMAP, and probably TOKIO, and to some lesser extent V6 and K8? _________________

yup!! 15 years is not a short time.... SMAP did it again.... i remember when they held their first concert (i think), there were not many people came and watch them... but they did not gave up... they worked very hard until now they are still the BEST group among other JE groups... no one can ever beat them... _________________

The others JE group's sales are all very good at the time when they debut singles, but most of them drop when they release the second one. But SMAP is exactly opposite, their first debut's result was not good, but they din give up, they work hard to prove that they can also have a good result.. Like now, their result are even brighter than the other JE, notice that even if they din release a limited edition, the results are oredi very BRIGHT.. Unlike the others, release Limited Edition to brought up the sales.. I m not saying the others JE are not good, but itz just SMAP's MAGIC that can alwayz do the BEST... _________________

SMAP will be performing on Music Station next week 8/11 but the song they will be performing has not been announced yet. I guess they will be singing their album songs most likely Nai Yai Yai. Personally I feel that it is a strange time for SMAP to appear on Music Station since their album had been released for two weeks and there is almost no TV promotion for their Pop Up! album. Also they are in the midst of their concert tour. Perhaps just like last year, they will be performing live from their concert venue. Hopefully they will performed their new original song from their concert.

Some of my most favorite SMAP songs are filler album tracks. Q : What do u guys think you all are? Is it friends, brothers, family members, working partners or any other relationship??
A : (From Nakai), nope, we are none of these.. I can just give u a simple answer.. WE ARE MEMBER OF SMAP, JUST MEMBER.. Members can do anythings together, our relationship is much much tough than anyone, although sometimes we argue, but that makes us know each other more..
I'll find the article.. I know Nakai sayz a lot, as well as other members..

Each member has such a bizarre outlook on their slow songs; sometimes slow ballads and sometimes a spazzy over the top dance song. You never know what your going to get with SMAP. Easily the worst vocalist is Nakai, but his songs are so damn catchy you wouldn't mind. Goro takes a chance on longer, slower and more romantic tunes; Kimura is either rockin' out or taking it easy with a mellow sound; Tsuyoshi sneaks in the korean or some sort of cartoonish sound and Shingo tries out his english (or lack of) skills </i> All I can say is that you won't be bored.
