wow... hadn't thought about new group coming and threatning News' return... I really hope Johnny won't forget about news... I will personally fly to japan and kick his *ss

Where did you get the news from?
A new group debuting in 2007 is like right on the heels of KT's debut. Assuming that it is true (forgive me for always being skeptical ^^; ), I don't really see 4Tops debuting. Personally, I'd like Toma, HaseJun and Kazama to debut, but I don't see them in a group with Yamapi as well. Yamapi is perceived as the leader of NEWS, and if a leader is in two groups, well.. that doesn't seem to convey a good message. At least, not to me. Plus, in Ryo and Uchi's case, NEWS and K8 both have 8 members. 2 members missing from either group would not make much difference. IF 4Tops debut with Yamapi in it, they would be left with 3 when Yamapi has a commitment with NEWS, and the way I see it, Yamapi would always have to choose NEWS over 4Tops, like it or not, because he is the leader of NEWS. The more likely debut candidates would be Ya-Ya-yah, but they are quite young, and would they risk debuting a young group again? I would like the older groups to debut, but, their popularity doesn't really match up to Ya-Ya-yah, except for maybe kis-my-ft2
If a new group does debut in 2007, I don't really think it will affect NEWS any more than how they've been affected by their hiatus. They are already going to have a tough time rising back to the top, whether or not there's a new group. Plus, isn't next year Kinki Kids' 10 yr debut anniversary? So, they're already going to be overshadowed by something else.
Well, I guess there's no point in speculating something like this. There's the question of whether a group really will debut, and there's also the question of whether it will even be an existing unit. Who knows, if there is a debut, it might even be a newly formed unit... _________________

great comment, hantuwriter..
i've read the last 4 pages
and i am always amazed by every single of ur posts...
from the rumour of Uchi's comeback (i hope he really comes back and Kusano too), TegoMass (it is the ridicolous thing i've heard. I mean it doesnt make sense), the issue of individual project that could break the groups (this is the issue that i am worried bout) till the new group to be debuted
when i first heard about the new group to be debuted in Apr'07, to be honest i was very worried.
I worried bout what would happen to NEWS...
will they b forgotten?
that time i realising how weak n fragile my faith is in them
but bcoz of hantuwriter's comments, i felt much better now..
i told myself no matter what will happen next year, i'll support NEWS..
i have to remind myself that this kind of case (where a new group will debut) can happen everytime in each year.
i believe that NEWS' fans will support NEWS
hantuwriter, thanks for ur positive thinking
i'll wait for NEWS' return
btw has anyone had the clip where NEWS + KT perform Summary at SC 12.12.2004?
thank you

Wow.. me, positive? Well, that's new. Never thought that I would be mentioned in the same sentence as the word positive . To be honest, I've been in a quite pessimistic mood these past few days. I think the positive person here is you, for seeing something positive in what I wrote . I figure that all I wrote were just pointless, long winding stuff that kept contradicting itself everytime it could . Anyhow, glad that I was able to somehow cheer you up _________________

I read the news from Yahoo!Japan news and some other Japanese news source. So I think it's very reliable....Johnny did say those words....but whether he will change his mind again later....that's something we won't know....that old guy just have too many weird thoughts in his head.....hard to predict his next action.....
Yea, many ppl think Ya-Ya-yah may be the next debut team. But I think they are too young and not popular enough yet.....There are also rumors about Kitty (just the 4 Jr.) will be debut next......But I don't think and I don't want them to......I would rather Kis-my-ft2 or ABC debut first......But honestly, I really don't see any Jr. qualified for debut soon.....Whoever will be debut next yr, they must not be able to get as much or just close to the attention KT, NEWS, or Takki got when they debut.

omg i just heards this news....i'm not a regular spammer here....just come here 2 search for news news...but this news realy interest me...don't let them forget news yet.. ..i haven't got enough of news yet....beside i dont think the junior group ready enough 2 make a debut..... even the tego massu news worried me a lots...it's not like i don't like them 2 have new album just thats i'm worried they 2 busy with their own things n forget abt news....besides...year 2006 almost done.....aren't they need 2 planning on news comeback for the 2007?...no matter what news alwaz no 1 in my hearts... _________________
Thanks for the welcomes everyone!
But about the debut news, there's some possibility that it could be Ya-Ya-yah.
Amazon Japan even added a Ya3 CD/DVD to their list in hopes that it will be them who debuts. However it could all just be pure anticipation since Johnny-san makes lots of odd desicions once in a while >.>'' We'll have to wait till spring next year to find out =_=
And does anyone know that Youtube has started to delete JE stuff again? Recently I've seen about three users being suspended and that's a shame because most of their uploads are my fave ones... Minna on Youtube please be careful as to not get suspended....T_T

Ehh, he'll be playing a 23-year-old! It's weird, I was expecting him to play someone younger than his actual age, but 4 years older? Lol he already looks young for his OWN age. It'll be interesting. I'm looking forwards to see it however!

I kind of hope the debuting group will be Ya-Ya-Yah. But well, they're all so young. Maybe it'll be Kis-My-Ft2. Even if they will debut, NEWS won't be forgotten. I'm sure about that. NEWS' fans will definitely continue supporting them.

Well, I just don't see how a new group could make NEWS' return any more difficult than it already is. They've already got a mountain to climb, and one more group would probably make little or no difference. Besides, who knows which label this new group will be put under. Different labels would mean different allocations and stuff. Plus, to ignore an established group with a strong fanbase who have been patiently waiting for their return in order to concentrate on making another group with an uncertain fanbase popular would be stupidity on the part of JE. That's what I think. They would be better off if they used the two groups to work off each other, profiting from each other. Who knows.. this might just be what they're aiming for.
See, I like contradicting myself, don't I? I said that there was no point in speculating something like this, and there I go.. speculating again. I apparently don't listen to myself ^^;
Anyway, back to present stuff. I never thought Tegoshi would act as someone older than his age. I agree that he already looks young for his age, how in the world would he make a believable 24 yr old? Heck, even Ryo couldn't pass of as a 25 yr old in Attention Please.. _________________

I guess all the fans must be worried about NEWS, but, lets have faith for now. Lets think about it this way... If JE disbands NEWS, they won't get as much income from Tegoshi, Koyama, Shige, Kusano and Massu as they are getting now. Yamapi.. well, he's raking in millions for JE anyway, that's why I'm not mentioning him. Ryo and Uchi have K8. So, if you view NEWS as objects that JE profits from, you will see that it will not be favourable financially for them to disband NEWS. Crude, yes, I know, but, in way, it is true.
To cheer us up, watch old clips of all 8 of them together.. performing, laughing, having fun. That's what I've been doing anyway. They looked so happy in those days... *nostalgic* _________________

Ok, Im kinda convinced that this TegoMass thing is a REALLY BAD joke (of some obviously whacked swedish fan). There's no official news about it, and even JmusicEuropa's source of news is from Cherish-forum. It really doesnt make any sence if they release a cd in Sweden, I mean Im sure they would make more money in Japan? I wonder what kind of satisfaction ppl get from making up these idiotic rumors

I'm confused over why they keep saying do not translate it into Japanese or Chinese. Are they scared of being sued by Johnny for talking rubbish?
Apart from that it all sounds too good to be true. Someone on my MSN list pointed out that people said the same about kity gYm, but we had you tube links of gYm within hours of people posting about it. This business of a locked forum for Swedish members only just reeks of false rumours to me.

Rather than sounding too good to be true, it sounds too ridiculous to be true. Too many questions are raised... why Sweden? Why Massu and Tegoshi? Why an English song? Why Miso Soup? Why the secrecy from Japanese fans? It all just doesn't add up..
I could go into analysing all those questions, but, I'd bore you guys to death, so I'm leaving it as it is _________________
