Oh forgot to mention, in the Japanese variation is just called "sauce". The thick ones are used on tonkatsu, takoyaki, okonomiyaki, etc and the thinner ones are used to flavor yakisoba and stuff like that.

It's a nice tangy sauce. People in the UK eat it with cheese and toast. Lovely! Smile
