Boy do I agree. As I said in another post, after you've seen a couple of episodes they just become boring repeats of each other and the fights look like slapstick comedy. So badly staged.... Grumble

well i dint finish lunchqueen coz i find the dorama very boring... same w/kisarazu cats eye the last dorama i watched was ATTENTION PLEASE and i have alot of doramas that are pending ~ i think ill go watch Gambatte immashoi altho i know this is another crappy dorama ~

Just finished "Yakusha Damashii!". This drama got fairly low rating, probably because it was pitched against such popular choices as "Dr. Koto 2006" and "Nodame Cantabile", which I thought did not reflect its quality.

finished Shotgun Marriage superb! this is another of my favorites. In my opinion, the script is great. The conversations between the characters are the main attraction. I love the acting and also the pace was perfect for me. But eventhough the script was excellent,i just thought the story could've been more deeper. 9/10 Yutaka... next up: Kunimitsu i'm still in progress on getting the two Rondo (i still can't figure it out. So Rondo '06 is some sort of special?) and Nodame Cantabile _________________

I thought lunch queen was okay, but the latter episodes were not that interesting anymore but still okay. Kisarazu was just for laughs, loved Attention Please(of course because of Aya-chan) hehe

but definitely not ganbatte ikimashoi - I didn't get to finish the first episode... bleh

Interesting reading some of the diverse comments about Lunch Queen. For what it's worth (probably not much) I thought that series was quite mediocre. The script had a somewhat promising premise, but quickly sank into cliches, becoming more drudging with each episode, which was probably one reason why the acting became more lackluster as the series continued. Yosuke Eguchi and Shinichi Tsutsumi are both pretty good actors imo, but neither was particularly strong in this dorama; Tsutsumi, because he played a quirky character and paradoxically, because he was in the least number of scenes, made the most impression on me. As for the rest of the cast, I suspect a lot of people who liked this dorama liked it because it had some very popular young actors/actresses in it; however, popularity does not necessarily equate to good acting, and even good acting cannot overcome a subpar script.
