Please if you can, watch the Special before you watch any of the regular episodes...for some reason, the Special aired first and set up the whole story for the rest of the show...

Just finished Beach Boys...what a great show, one of those you don't want to end, but you know must... Also finished Enka no Jouu 7...it finally dawned on me, Himawari is a mini-Bodhisattva...taking upon herself the pain and suffering of those around her with no regard for her own concern...first time I've noticed a blatant Buddhist plotpoint in a dorama... _________________ The Cutest Girl in the World!

Ah! slaps forehead with the palm of his hand It took me until episode 8 (the dog-sitting episode) to realize that Kekkon Dekinai Otoko is based on "As Good As It Gets" starring Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt. The show, the performances in "Kekkon..." are so good, it didn't even occur to me to wonder where, or if, I'd seen most of this before. _________________ Manga is to Literature what Graffiti is to Art

Finished Unfair last night. Thoroughly enjoyable show, with some good performances by the lead actors. The plot was a bit up and down, but generally it kept me interested enough to be looking forward to the next installment, particularly near the end.
