Done with Kekkon Dekinai Otoko.

I enjoyed it much more than Orange Days... Abe Hiroshi was brilliant and near-unwavering in his role. Thumbsup and I was equally impressed with Natsukawa Yui's (award winning) performance... Overall, an 8.5/10.

Hmmm...what makes you subtract the 1.5 pts? I thought it's darn near perfect Thumbsup Can you list the ones you rated 9 or 10?

I just watched Seikei Bijin episodes part of 3, 4, and 5 and it seemed to all blend into one, so I don't remember which episode is which.

Anyway, I liked the bentou that Honami made for Hanaya-san. The tongue sticking out what just priceless. rofl

And I would love if someone held a pro wrestling match only for me. That would be sweet! Mr Green But the match in the show made me think, "I thought the pile driver was banned," but then again, I think that was only banned in the US. (ok, now I'm kinda embarassed to reveal that I used to watch wrestling Shameful Cry )

Ohhhhhh good point. I wonder if there is a movie review thread...

Tho, to encourage more discussion, you could just make a STMB thread, or whatever movie thread, like they did for Swing Girls.

I don't think I'd be the right person to start a thread dedicated to just one movie or drama because my taste always changes and I doubt that I'd keep up with the discussion because I always move on to the next series. I prefer the idea of a movie reviews thread because that way it isn't about just one movie.

I'm exactly like that. Sometimes I shocked that drama threads are still alive after the shows been out for like a year. Beaten

As much as I liked the drama, it doesn't have a very high re-watch factor for me... At least at this moment.

Others, like Nodame, Kuitan, Trick, can withstand repeated viewings, IMO...

I started watching Trick... and I liked it, but the quality of file I had wasn't very good. I really should get back to it.

One day.

Yah. I had to fork over some money to get that TRICK DVD set and it was risky too~ bleh Numerous people gave the seller bad feedback here at Jdorama.com. But I took the chance since it was the only subbed version in existence at the time. Then Ruroshin encoded it and upped it to D-A.

TV Nihon is also subbing it right now. http://www.tvnihon.com/

I wouldn't worry much about maintaining the thread in any way: It's existence will allow people to chime in whenever they feel like it... Smile

There is a Japanese Movie Recommendations/Discussions thread that you can use, but you'd have to go through each page to weed out a particular movie to discuss...

Just go for it... Or I can start the thread for you... But you shouldn't feel hesitant to do so yourself. Smile
