so much to do
can anyone give me website where i could learn easily |
I really liked this site way back when I first started learning Japanese a couple of years ago:
http://www.geocities.com/takasugishinji/japanese/index.html
Also, like anything that requires a decent amount of study, there's no easy way to learn Japanese. Just thought I'd point that out.

Thanxs, for the advice.

aznanimedude wrote: | hirangana and katakana both have individual characters to represent each sound in japanese so you can think of them as "spelling" out the words. the difference is hiragana is used for native words while katakana is for imported words kinda generalized=hiragana for japanese words, katakana for non-japanese words. you can get away with using just hiragana and katakana but correct writing implements kanji which are basically more complex "words" i guess you could say |
i get your point but what i'm saying is i notice some japanese words are written in katakana... _________________

I forgot were I read it, but a study said an average person needs about 3,000 hours of studying a language to understand a language. I know it varies and you can't say that surpassing the 3,000 mark you will understand it, but to put the challenge in perspective.
If you study:
One hour a day - will take 3,000 days.
Two hours a day - will take 1,500 days.
Three hour a day- will take 1,000 days.
"When nothing seems to help, I go look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before.h --Jacob Riis.
