If it's ok, may I request for pictures of the girls -- pictures which emphasize their haircut? Particularly those with midlength to long straight hair. I wanted to get ideas for straight hair. I tried looking online, but wavy and curly hair seem to be the trend right now, thanks to Ebihara Yuri. Thank goodness for AKB48.

Mariko-sama, who i posted on the previous page, who i met personally while in Japan...(i am so lucky ), depicts a hairstyle that is relatively short. Atsuko Maeda, who i will try to find a picture, but she is shown in Hanzo21's avatar, who also has short hair. I will see if i can gather up some uploads of the girls and post more laters.

I like Minegishi Minami's hair a lot. Also Ono Erena. Acchan is by far the most kawaii, but her hairdoo is pretty standard.

the only one i really don't like....and that is out of all them...is the unenthusiastic oku manami. Other than that, i like ALL the rest of them!

check out my AKB ranking of the girls, off the AKB thread. recently, it has been the two Tomomi's that are my top favorites. Kasai and Itano. not forgetting Mariko-sama, and Nakanishi, Kojima Haruna.

Interesting... Manami is also my least favorite member. Itano and Minegishi are tied for 2nd here.

BTW, we're planning a trip for next Spring. Yeah, you just came back from the best vacation of all time!

But some guys at work that want to see AKB48 and MM need to start applying for their passport now. Anyway, if it works out... we want to get into Tokyo on a Friday. Wake up early Saturday to buy AKB48 tickets, visit Akihabara that afternoon, see the show that night. Then on Sunday morning, take the train to Kanazawa to see Morning Musume. Monday back to Tokyo to take the flight that evening back home.

holy cow! you're kidding right? fly out to Narita out of Dallas..? and leave on a Thursday, arrive later on a Friday, wake up early on a Saturday, buy the tickets, show late night, Sunday MM, fly out Monday afternoon, arrive Monday morning, all jet-lag'd ? considering you will be taking off Thursday for work thru Monday, coming back Tuesday, i am guessing. So that is 3 work days for your time off attributed to vacation. That is a rushed trip...but worth it if you can only spare those less than a week type trip. Consider the jet-lag coming back to work, i dealt with it, even with a day off when i returned the previous day. It took four days, almost the whole entire work week to really recover, since i jumped back into the work week on a Tuesday!

I am thinking closer to 2 to 3 weeks in Japan, and visiting the AKB48 floor maybe 4 or more times, and hopefully seeing them in concert.

starting from far left to far right is:

Tomomi Itano, Minami Minegishi, Hana Tojima, and Erena Ono.

and my signature pix of Mariko Shinoda from the AKB48 forum, i am also one of the forum members on there, of course.

her hairstyle is short, and depicts closer to the far left and far right picture, not so much as the center photo.

Well, these guys at work were turned onto AKB48 and MM. Naturally the guys that liked it are into anime and the Japan mystique.

So, of course they want to go. We get a 90% discount on airfare and there are cool friends in Japan that will help out. It's just a matter of being in tune with what is going on.

Those guys go back Monday. I'll take the Shinkansen to Osaka to see another MM show hopefully and then on to Kobe for week. K-Chan, Haruka, and Miki-chan are already looking forward to 2 months in Japan early next year.
