McLaren fined $100 million
PARIS (Reuters) - Formula One leaders McLaren have been stripped of all their 2007 constructors' points and fined $100 million (50 million pounds) in a spying controversy involving Ferrari information.

However, the governing FIA ruled that the team's championship leader Lewis Hamilton and Spain's double world champion Fernando Alonso could keep their points in the drivers' contest.

Why do all the new car designs lack side body moldings? All these cars are gonna get the crap dinged out of them at the supermarket/mall/etc... Shake Head

I felt that way about the E36 after being so used to the boxy, but utilitarian E30. Smile

alonso aquaplaned into a wall near the end of the race.
anyway, mclaren blunder leaves hamilton beached in the sand today. no new champion yet.

        in shanghai;
        1st raikkonen
        2nd alonso
        3rd massa.

Picked this up the other day. It's about the 1982 F1 season. Lots was happening. Besides the whole Villeneuve/Pironi thing, you had Paletti's fatal accident, a drivers strike, Rosberg winning the championship with just one victory. A little pricey at $65 (35 pounds) but I enjoyed it.

          Hi guys...
I need your help.. My car is dead, and I can't afford to fix it (well it doesn't worth). So I just want to donate it or give to the junk yard.
Anyone has information about it?? Please need help?? I tried to find information from the internet.... still no clue.

          Btw, I live in USA.

^check for a wrecking yard (Ecology auto wrecking if you have one near you) and they'll probably take it. or you can try putting it in the paper and see if anyone is willing to tow it and fix it themselves.

Because all cars have different shaped doors. none of the cars here are protected by moldings. My dad's door dings above both my moms and my doors above teh molding, we ding his below. Heck, even my sisters car dings everyone elses.

It worked back in the day when everyones door was near verticle from the side.

          I gotcha.

But it's better than nothing... And I think the lines from the molding help the car's looks...

my mondeo which was old and wasn't worth repairing i just left on my drive while i used my bike everyday. one day this guy came knocking saying he'd noticed the car had been stationary for a few months and could he have it for the running gear for his kit car he was building. i said yes as it meant i didn't have to pay for it to be scrapped. so you never know..... Maybe you should contact a car dealership: my ex dumped her Prelude through a place that the local Honda dealership recommended... And she got the full $2500 write-off (at the time: 2000) come tax time. Smile
