They're sometimes using words that aren't in dictionaries tho. So I have to Google it and figure out what that means with the images or websites that pops up. One girl writes instead of@ too. I have no idea why. |
when you figure it out...let us know why...oshiete kudasai.

I'm writing a paper about pachinko for one of my classes and I made an enquete I want to send to my Japanese friends and teachers (and everybody else I know/once have in my emailaddresses). My Japanese teacher already checked my enquete, but now I have to write the email. I;m not really good in being very polite, so I was hoping if someone can check my Japanese here. This is what I came up with:
搶ƗFB̊FցA
-Here Ifd like to put a phrase about the weather and I found this on the internet, but I feel itfs a bit too polite:
N͗NɂȂ₦ޏHɂȂ܂BFlA₩ɂ߂łႢ܂.
̓p`RɂĘ_Ă܂B{lp`Rɂǂvׂ̂Ȃ̂ŁAZAP[g܂B
P`Q炢̂ŁAԂAL܂B
͂낵肢܂A
Krisje Meeuwsen
Ps: ɏp̏ꍇ́AȂA
Is this polite enough? Or should some things be changed?
h'd like to have the enquetes back as soon as possible. Should I write that in the email as well? Or do you think if Japanese see this email, they'll respond immediately?
thank you for your answer in advance
ps: I've only got 37 adresses so far, but I'd like to have more Japanese. Is there someplace on the internet where I can put my enquete and get a lot of response?

Seems to be a girl thing. They replace all the kana by their tiny equivalent (half width kana), or use 2 or 3 characters or symbols to make 1 kana. It's like writing |-| instead of H.
So you end up with something like or FB[Ϩ. You probably need to be a gyaru to understand all that crap.

I'm SOOOOO sorry, guys!
It's been uber-crazy with me lately!
So much work, school, and just general hecticness!
I haven't forgot about y'all, though! I'm here to spread some <3.
Anywho, yeah, those things you see like:
(sometimes even у <--- supposed to be )
are called "M" (gal moji).
It's basically the Japanese version of |_337 5p34|< (leet speak) that girls use in Japan. I don't know if it's all that popular anymore, but it was for a while. Incredibly hard to read, but creative, I'll give them that.
You can read all about it here:

Hello
I have a question ...
What's the difference between (ai) and (koi) because I think they both mean love but when do I use one and when the other?
Thanks for your help ^.^

Hi all! I know that this is the old word for India (used also in Chinese and Korean). Now I see that it appears in contexts like Vx. An example:
http://www.sumire201.com/tabehoudai/tabehoudai_zukan/detail/indoya_shinjuku_higashiguchi_ten.html
I have some knowledge of Japanese, but it does not go so far to do a Internet search to find out the origin of V. Namely, does it have a connection with bamboo () or was it just a pronunciation of an initially non-Chinese word (Tianzhu - Chinese, Tenjiku - Japanese)?
Other question would be about V, do you know if this group is pronounced Tenjiku yume ryouri or does it have other specific pronunciation (eventually other meaning than "Tenjiku dream food")? I say this because when I search on-line there appear many results with V, making me wonder whether this is an established expression with a specific meaning.
Many thanks
