But there a few posters that seemed to agree that her hair wasn't nicely coiffed ...which I disagreed with. It was a candid photo (clearly! ) so her hair might not have been styled, but not worthy of being pointed out in a negative light. That's all.

I like Yuko so much since i saw her in "egao no hosoku" really a beautiful and great actress !! I have many dramas to discover !!!

I really feel sorry for Takeuchi Yuko, her divorce problem doesn't seem to end soon. And she is still legally Nakamura Shido's wife until now (though they have separate)
I only know recently that Yuko grew up without a father. I'm not sure whether her parents got divorced, or her father died, though. Does anyone know whether she has siblings?
After filming Shiroi Kage, she dated Kamikawa Takaya, dunno for how long, though. Then in 2004, she met Nakamura Shido on the filming set of "Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu". In May 2005, it was revealed she was 3-months pregnant and so she and Shido were "dekichatta kekkon". It was hell for Takeuchi Yuko, coz she didn't realize that if she marry a kabuki actor, that means she has to give up everything for her husband's career. Being a bride in a kabuki family, means she has to give up her career, and fully support her husband and she can only do that, she cannot two-time by having a career too. Kabuki world is a very strict society. Being a bride in kabuki family, their task is to support the husband and give birth to a baby boy, that's all they have to do, and can do.
Whenever her husband has kabuki play, she has to attend the play too, for the official greetings to the audience. Basically the wives of actors on stage have to attend the greetings event...it's a basic tradition.
Yuko had a career, of course she was reluctant to give up everything. But she received pressure from Nakamura Shido's mother. From the Japanese fans, I heard that Shido's mother is "EVIL". A good example of an evil mother-in-law who tortures the daughter-in-law >_< (FYI, Shido's mother and Matsu Takako's mother are sisters. But Matsu's mother is totally an angel, IMHO^^)
But Yuko had no choice. That's why, she stopped her acting activities for a year.
During their marriage, the media caught Nakamura Shido with other women, different women in different places. The peak was June 2006, when Nakamura Shido created a scandal, he did a traffic violation due to drinking, and he was found with Okamoto Aya in the car.
Some kind of a question-answer Japanese forum. This question was created on July 2006.

In the kabuki society world, are men really allowed to do anything to the women, except killing them? Takeuchi Yuko is very unfortunate...

Also, Nakamura Shichinosuke who did a drinking-traffic violation too. And I heard, Ichikawa Somegoro (FYI, my most favorite kabuki actor), Matsu Takako's brother... had an illegitimate child T_T
Anyway, apparently, Yuko couldn't stand it anymore, and filed the divorce papers in October 2006. However, Shido doesn't want to divorce her. Shido's mother against it totally, coz once Yuko enter the kabuki circle as a bride, she shouldn't be able to go out, that's the law in this society. She should've serve her husband for the rest of her life.
When I saw Yuko's first TV appearance ever since she got married, which was in SmaStation Kimura Takuya SP (just on the VTR), I was surprised!! She looked so stressed. Kawaii sou~ ah here I have the cap:
Then finally Shido was willing to talk about the divorce, but Yuko would want to take custody of their son and won't let him to see his son ever again. Shido's family was raged, coz they want to raise Shido's son as a kabuki actor. A first son in this society is like a rare treasure. Thus, the custody battle continues and seem like there's no ending to it.
In this one year, there had been bad rumours about Takeuchi Yuko in the Josei magazines. Stuff like "actually Takeuchi Yuko also had an affair with another man", or "Takeuchi grew up without a father so she thinks her son doesn't need a father", or "ever since she got married, Takeuchi didn't care at all about the kabuki tradition, she's a selfish person". But most fans suspect this to be Shido's mother's doing, who asked the media to write these stuff.
Although they are not officially divorced yet, since she separate herself from Shido, she has begun her acting activities again.
Shido had been asked twice in the beginning of this year about the divorce case, but he only smiled and didn't answer. There was a rumour that the case has been finally settled, and that Yuko has won their son's custody, and they have submitted the divorce application to the ward office on January 27th. But there has been no official news about this yet.
Well... true, recently, Takeuchi Yuko looks really happy and had been all smiley on TV programs. So, I'm thinking, maybe its true she has finally won their son's custody... that, or she has secretly dating someone else right now _________________
