After the mega popularity of Meteor Garden first in Taiwan back in 2001 and then subsequently Hanayori Dango in Japan in recent years, Korea is also set to have its very own version of Meteor Garden in 2008.
Popular Japanese anime, Hanayori Dango will be adapated into a Korean drama. The Taiwanese and Japanese version of the television drama has achieved phenomenal ratings during its run and the Japanese version which was shown on cable television achieved pretty good ratings and earning lots of fans in the process. The company which will be producing this is Group Eight whose previous works were Goong: Princess Hours and Fantasy Couple. The Japanese rights holder decided to work with Group Eight after learning about its production capability after viewing Goong S.
By releasing this exciting news first, Group Eight has created lots of anticipation and hype over who will be taking the roles ahead of the actual casting. Many netizens in fact are already posting and discussing furiously over who their ideal cast should be since the news broke yesterday.
With regards to the Korean F4, the production team revealed, We will be choosing based on their similarities with the anime characters. We wont be choosing based on how popular or how well-known they are. The Korean version of Hanayori Dango is set at 24 episodes, each clocking in at 70 minutes and will be shown on television in the latter part of 2008.

hmm it might be interesting to see... I loved Yoon Eun Hye in both Goong and Coffee Prince and I do think she is suited for the role but maybe they can find someone better as for the other guys i think Doumyouji Tsukasa should look rich and like a rebel Jang Hyuk and Kang Dong Won might be good choices....as for Hanazawa Rui who is mysterious and more caring i think Kim Jeong Hoon is more suited for the role...we've had him try and steal Shin Chae-kyung in Goong and Ma Yoo Hee in Witch's Amusement why not Makino Tsukushi in Hana Yori Dango _________________

I only caught the last few episodes of Prince's First Love when it aired here in Southern Cal. Now I can finally see it from the beginning. This is truly a great drama if you like comedy romance gorgeous beautiful girls and land and sea scapes like in Tahiti.
Just started the first episode and am already totally into it. Yippee.
i mean.. anything about korea.. like lifestlyes etc... if you dont mind sharing... hehe
go for the gold is my way of saying do your best!
ohhh~ i see! lol XD
lifestyle? lets see... its very busy and hectic in a way. some people dont even stop on a red light~ so be careful when crossing the street. its alot like new york. korea is all about night life. just like japan. oh! and if you go to korea you have to check out the korean saunas. the best. even japanese people agree. plus its sooo cheap! last time i went it the price was about 5-10 dollars. they have all these little hot rooms that you can go in to and the room is made from special rocks. each room has its purpose. for skin, for health, whitening, diet. etc... the place is separated for male and female but you can meet them in the lounging area. in the lounging area theres tv. massaging chairs, movie theatre, cafe, resaurant... etc... i really like it. and seriously. people who go there often do not age! O_O its shocking really. its a great way to relax and get rid of some stress.
there are alot of little carts on the sidewalk where they sell food. its cheap and delicious! ^3^ last time during winter when it was freezing i found 50 cent in my bag and i went to those carts and bought odeng. and it was so good. eating something hot on a freezing day feels so nice.
if you ever go to korea you have to spend a week at jae joo island. its a little island and its so beautiful. great scenary lots of places to explore and 5 star hotels. its a must.
you know in korean dramas there are gansters that go around with bats in a black suit? dont think that they're just in dramas. XD but dont worry. just dont get in to any debt with them~ lol! >_< hahah what if i scared some people in to not going to korea? oops~
~~ for the korean hana yori dango i reallllyyyyyyyyy wish they wouldnt cast yoon eun hye. i mean i really like her and all but... she just doesnt fit the image. i'd rather have the other girl casted.

i think they should change th plot of the story a little
and fr the roles they should take a guy form one of the boy bands
or somthing
but which is my question
I agree~I'm not saying Hyun bin or Lee dong gun are old, but it should be younger ones to act in the drama, or old ones but look extremely young?? Hehe~
