What about the East?

Umm... not sure if you have actually been watching or following the East but....it's Celtics-Pistons in East Finals, and that's it. Shake Head

Opining about the East playoff teams isn't as fun when there's such a big gap between the 2 best and the rest. The West will clearly be more competitive with better teams and higher potential for upsets.

Zero upset potential there, I suppose. Sweat

The teams are so tightly bunched up, I can hardly say any would really be upsets...

Two great games tonight (LA game not among them of course). Mr Green

Mavs-Jazz finish was a thrill .... D-Williams banking in an off-balance 3, immediately followed by a fast-break 3 by Dirk with less than 1 sec to win it. Dallas looks like they got some mojo back.

Denver beat GS ... with no defensive as usual. Looks more and more like Warriors were a one-hit wonder last year, with no more Nellie ball for the '08 playoffs. Sorry all you Warrior fans. Sorry!

Lakers almost blow a big lead, but manage to beat the Hornets, 107-104, and win the Pacific Division... The first time since the 2003-2004 season.

Next up: San Antonio at the Staples Center on Sunday. Sweat

The fat lady is getting ready to sing her note. The Rockets fire a wad and lose to the Nuggets.

The only way for the Ws to get in is to beat the Suns and Sonics and hope that Memphis locks the Nuggets out of the arena.

I've faced it, the Warriors are done. Grumble Bang Head

If only Steven Jackson hadn't been out for the first 8 games for that suspension, and Pietrus as well. Beat You

On the bright side, the Warriors will have some cap room for next season, as a result of the Jason Richardson trade. It'll be interesting to see what they do.

The Warriors have a solid four in Baron, Ellis, Biedrins, and Jackson. In particular, Ellis and Biedrins experienced huge growth this year.

Cheers, Drunk

I'm from the , it ain't over 'til it's over school.

As far as next year goes... I'll say the same thing this year that I said last year. Elton Brand.

Brand has the same kind of opt out clause in his contract this off season that Baron does. If he wants to... he can leave the Clippers.

Add his to the four names PC just mentioned and the Warriors aren't scrappin' to snag the 8th spot. They're a legit contender.

Well, Brand is a very good PF, and the Warriors could definitely use him. I just doubt he'll opt out of $16M off of a season of major injury. He'll probably want to play out his final year to show his worth that BIG contract. He's shown interest in staying in LA as well.
