(Sorry to bring up the subs issue again but....)
I can appreciate that fan subs are a tricky and difficult business.
But why keep the subs to themselves? lf I done subs I would want as many people as possible to have them, share the wealth etc .
If the subbers want recognition then fair enough, I don't have a problem with that.
But come on subbers, share the happiness.
And yes, Maki's eyes are pretty special. Definatly one of her best features.
So erm.....anyone know where I can get subs for Tokyo Boy from? lol.

I finally got round to watching the Hana Kimi 2008 special.
I'm not really sure what to make of it.......
It was pretty good I guess, Maki was in there doing her thing.
She even played football, which was funny.
Till the match turned into a right farce and everyone started singing and dancing...........I thought that was a bit stupid.
What did everyone else think??
I know there are some people in the Maki forum who didn't like Hana Kimi in general
so I guess you won't be too bothered about the 2008 special.

I liked is, but the others were really stupid sometimes, and it made Maki's and Shun's acting to go in shadow. They really were cute and I loved that there were many sweet and lovely scenes, but then Ohsaka guys came and acted stupid :/ Also, some of the characters acted nothing like the characters did in the drama. Like Kagurazaka went kind of mad, Nakatsu acted weird with Mizuki... So yeah. I like the parts where Maki is, because she did really well as always
The dancing.... yeah... and the whole thing when everyone played on the field with 10 balls lol _________________

Horikita to play Ri Kouran in "Danso no Reijin"
Fri, November 14, 2008 (2:06am EST)
Back in May, it was announced that Meisa Kuroki will be starring in a drama special titled "Danso no Reijin," based on the life of the Manchu princess Yoshiko Kawashima. It has now been revealed that former actress/singer Ri Kouran (also known as Yoshiko Yamaguchi) will be a character in the story, played by Maki Horikita.
As previously reported, the drama focuses on Kawashima, who served as a spy for the Kwantung Army and as a military leader for Manchukuo. Yamaguchi, on the other hand, was a Japanese woman born in China, where she initially built her career as an actress. Although the two were of different generations, they were said to be closely linked at one point.
In 2007, TV Tokyo aired a drama special about the life of Yamaguchi, and Kawahima was a key character in that show. In that version, Aya Ueto played Yamaguchi.
The supporting cast in "Danso no Reijin" includes Yuki Yagi, Miki Maya, Masatoshi Nakamura, and Masanobu Takashima. TV Asahi will broadcast the drama on December 6.
