Man, some religious zealots posting at HuffPo are attributing the SoCal firestorms to "The Hand of God" as a result of all the protests against the passing of Proposition 8... Shake Head

Freaking nutjobs. Grumble

The fires in Yorba Linda and Brea really terrible. My cousins had to evacuate because they are 2 miles from where it's blazing. They'll be staying with us tonight.

I hope it all works out fine for them...
I remember how bad the fires were when I lived up in Sonoma County.

Do they know what the cause of these fires is? And didn't this happen last year too? Yikes. I hope that everyone will be ok and they can get the fire contained soon.

You know that place where you go supposedly so you can make more money in the future. And then you realize, a plumber is making more money than you. And then there's plumbers who become celebrities, i.e. "Joe the Plumber"

And on the other side of the fence, I'm getting tired of all the protests by the people upset because Prop 8 lost. O.K. it lost, what you do then is work harder the next election. Geez, get over it already. (I probably wouldn't be saying this if they hadn't been demonstrating down at city hall yesterday and instead of it taking 5 minutes to get from Mitsuwa to the freeway, they had all the streets blocked off and it took 45 minutes Beaten )
