Keps, at first I thought that engine is all about driving too, that's why I have it for so long en never in the mood to watch it, but when I saw it, it completely different with what I thought, like bmwracer said, "not enough driving", well actually many driving but less racing, hehehe.
I think Engine is nearer the top of my to-watch list now.
I liked Kimura in Beautiful Life, even if he is a revolting Jpop band.
@ topic - just finished episode 9 of Bloody Monday. Still loving it, but I hate the ending theme the more I hear it. After episode 1, the end theme made me feel mild dislike. Now, by episode 9, I feel a strong loathing for it.

Finished Hitotsu Yane no Shita1. Great drama and I enjoyed it a lot. This gets a 91/2 of 10 from me, but I'll just round it off to a 10/10. Frustrating things like An-chan's unwillingless to listen and jumping to conclusions kept me from giving it a perfect score. So did rushed storylines, but I overlooked it because this series was great.
Now to find out what drama I should watch next.. _________________

still nearer en not top of the list Keps?
as for Bloody monday, keep on watching, but I must admit I hate the ending too,
Finish Change episode 1 en can't continue yet, a bit bored seeing it, so I stopped en turn to watch J movie Rockers, pretty funny.
I'm currently watxhing Q.E.D. and Mei-chan no Sh.itsuji
Didn't expect much from them, but I was pleasently surprised with both. They have surprisingly good acting and a solid plot in every episode.

Over the last couple of nights I wtached Koori no Hana. Yonekura Ryoko, who I gather is rather popular in these parts, reprises her wicked woman-type role. Highly watchable, the time just flew with it was on, but unfortunately is was let down by a weak plot, which made no sense if you thought about it. All of the time I was expecting the plot to be far more clever than it actually was. Far too much use of talking head exposition also. But it kept me watching and entertained, and that's what really matters in the end.
Also finished the first season of Trick and loved it. Thankfully there is a lot more of it to come...

Hey, if Dori's in a thong flingin' mood... do not discourage her.
As to dramas...
Boy, I just watched episode 3 of Home Darma and I think this is turning out to be one of the great ones.
It's not a comedy, romantic or otherwise. It's a sentimental journey. You can read the blurb about it.
The situation, the writing, the acting... everything's coming together beautifully in this one. And the episodes go by in the wink of an eye. Three episodes in and every time the closing theme starts to play I"m shocked to find that I've been watching for more than 40 minutes. _________________
