Horikita goes homeless for next drama

Actress Maki Horikita will take on a very different role for her next TV drama. She is starring in an untitled Fuji TV series which partly has her playing a homeless person.

In the drama, Horikita's character is burdened with 100 million yen worth of debt after her gambling father disappears. Chased out of her home by collectors, she is forced to sleep in places like internet cafes. However, she meets the president of a major company who offers to pay off the debt if she marries him, and she soon finds herself moving in with a rather eccentric family.

Fuji TV will air the show on Tuesdays at 9:00pm, starting in April.

i've watched some shows of maki such as nobuta and innocent love and i really like her. what other shows of her are nice to watch? I tried watching kurosagi but i wasn't too interested about the story XD

Is is being aired already? What's the title of the show?

it's Atashinchi no Danshi and yes, it's out. You can find the torrents at d-addicts. (seriously, I still can't remember the title until now Anyone knows the english translation of it?)

you should try some of her movies too like Tokyo Shounen and Tokyo Raid (Tokyo Daikushu). And of course, Hanazakarino Kimi Tachi E or just Hanakimi in short (it's really good and funny^^)

Please guys tell me where I could stream atashinchi no danshi ... even without subs will do.... thanks... I can't dl it cos my pc broke... haha so please tell me if you know... domo arigato!!!

it's a little bit funny but I think it's boring and had a lot of exaggeration... but then it's just episode one.... I'll just keep my hopes for the next episodes.....

I think maki's acting here is not that great... I have a feeling that it would be better if ueto aya plays chisato... well let's just see if there is something especial about this one... I have high hopes for this cos of course... maki is maki.... I know she can pull it off.. maybe ... hehe
