And surpassing Kimutaku.. I thought with CHANGE ratings it would be more popular than Maou average ones. I've seen Nino did better than his Koichi in RnK. He needs to be doing movies instead.

Still, it's very much a popularity rating, and Kimura's fans obviously not voting as hard as Arashi's fans, and they might not buy as much TV LIFE as Arashi's fans. IMO, even though Ohno's acting is good in Maou, Kimura is just so much better.

Wow, Ryusei no Kizuna almost swept the prizes. I didn't expect that with the popularity of Atsuhime...

yeah, yeah.. Arashi is so popular now and Kimutaku still pwns Ohno at acting but
Ohno won by a HUGE margin.. Ohno with that Korean remake drama of his with 11% average. Ohno who is short, with bad skin and .. short. Its even a split vote between Nino (the Hollywood star) if we assume Arashi fans are the only one voting, which in my opinion i think the non-fans also acknowledges Ohno with that HUGE gap between #1 & #2.

Ryusei no Kizuna is just overhyped. And Atsu-hime's audience might not even vote on The Television. Which is why the Critics' Award made more sense, most of the time anyway.

In case anyone is wondering, Matsuzaka Keiko played Ikushima in Atsu-hime. Thoroughly deserved award Applaud

She's not listed on the database as being in Atsu-hime.

It's 100% popularity votes, no judges involved. How else would something as sucky as Kami no Shizuku wins?

Nothing's changed with the fans: it's always this way when they get to vote.

Nah.. the other fans just missed the memo on voting dateline. Ohno would have won otherwise..
Kame got some really dedicated fans.

One should keep in mind that most adults are too busy with their real life to waste time on voting for a TV programme lol

that's probably the major factor.. hehe
although the ratings were really low, but then again, we can't judge a drama's substance just by the ratings..it's just like the case with Maou.. Sweat
