No, it's a comedy/drama/romance series with more drama, at least for the first half of the show.
Synopsis
Shin Na Ra, a woman who is almost thirty welcomes her boyfriend of seven years back from his business trip. During their dinner, he tells her that he not only had an affair but fell in love with another woman. Thus their relationship is no more. To make herself feel better, Na Ra drinks a large amount of alcohol and unknowingly dropped the ring her ex-boyfriend gave her into a random strangerfs cup. The stranger, In-Jae, drinks the shot without seeing the ring and both of them end up in the hospital.
To support herself, Na Ra pretends to be her ex-boyfriendfs 20 years old sister in order to work as a cosmetic clerk at Mi-Rae (the woman her ex-boyfriend fell in love with)fs shop but fate has brought In-Jae to the shop to. Thus began their surprising journey of love, where In-Jae is in love with Mi-Rae too. Cast
Han Chae Young as Shin Na Ra / Shin Na Kyung (Cosmetic beauty counselor)
Kang Ji Hwan as Nah In Jae (Cosmetic gallery manager)
Park Eun Hye as Chae Mi-rae (Head of the cosmetic store management team)
Yoon Sang Hyun as Kang Seung-woo (CPA, Nah-rafs ex-boyfriend)
Park Jung Soo as Nah In Jaefs mother
Kim So Yun as Shin Na Kyung (the real 20 year-old sister)

thanks EG, wow! that must be hard for him. I've seen some pictures of him in his army suit bowing deeply in front of the camera and I was puzzled. Now I understand what happened.
I initially watched CHUNO because of Jang Hyuk, but them OMG!!! THOSE ABS! I kept squealing when I saw them lol!
ah yes, Hyuk tends to be so quite and a little bit out of place when he's in a variety show, well I've only seen him in Family Outing (he was so serious when he first came to the show but he seemed more relaxed when he came to the show the following year), but I enjoyed his talk with Kusanagi in Cho Nan Kan. Well, in case you want to watch it, I've reuploaded the show I had from tudou
qnuy! For some reason I couldn't access the link you gave so I dug it up at your LiveJournal instead.
Thanks for sharing the vid! Man, I hope someone subs this, because I'd really love to know what JH and Tsuyopon were talking about! (Esp. what Tsuyoshi told JH as he touched JH's biceps when JH stood up and bowed, hahaha!) I had no idea how big their height difference was until they both stood up. And to think Jang Hyuk isn't even considered tall for a K-actor.
You're probably gonna kill me for saying this, but if a newcomer were watching this clip, they might think Tsuyoshi seemed a bit... creepy during the interview, heh heh heh.

Wyn chan, You did it to me again. I can't stop watching O! Pil-seung Bong Sun-yeong. Up every night until 3am. Can't get enough of Chae-rim. What a gorgeous gal....
Not to worry. Although she is definitely in my rapidily expanding more than top 10 idols, Kuninaka Ryoko and Sung Yuri are still number 1 and 2.
What's with the male lead, An Jae-uk. Have not seen him before. He reminds a lot of KimuTaku. Is he the Korean KimuTaku? I think he is terrific. Has that same ability to make that miniscule change in his face and transmit so many emotions.
This is a perfect comedy romance for the young at heart (like myself ).
Kdrama producers seem to now just how to tweak a drama to keep you at the edge of your chair even when you can guess the ending.
This is cutting into my dance practice for Sunday's Bon Odori.
One thing I like with Korean actors and actresses is they don't need to wear make up and other cosmetics to make themselves beautiful on cam. Their looks are very simple and their skins are smooth an white. And I like their perfect teeth by the way.

He stars in both Korean and Tiawanese dramas. I think he is a terrific actor. I first saw him in a Tiawanese series called Bai Ling Apts. He was a sesrious romantic lead so I was most impressed when I saw him in the comedic Oh Pil Seung. A favorite series of mine as well. _________________

Wow. That is amazing to star in two different cultures. But I can see how adaptive he could be. Last night, at 8pm, I started watching somewhere around episode 8 and ended up at 2am again. This is one super addictive drama. Hope i finish it today so I can get a decent sleep.
Finished O! Pil-seung Bong Sun-yeong. 8/10

What is the insane thinking of these producers, directors, writers. They make a perfectly beautiful drama and drop it dead at the end. Would it hurt terribly to show that the couple actually had a life after the main story... would it hurt to show them in wedding attire. Would it hurt to show them kissing or making some kind of more intense visual than soong Yuun... going to Busan??????? This is like having a wonderful meal with great friends and after the main course everyone leaves, there is no dessert, no coffee and cake.... just blah blah blah..... Take Prince's First Love.... showing the happy couple in a canoe after the ending.... enjoying each other's company. That is what I call a satisfying ending.
Does anyone know where I could write the producers of this drama so I can vent my wrath on them....
Saw the first couple of eps of My girlfriend is A Gumiho and it was a lot of fun to watch. I had seen Shin Min Ah a couple of times before, but she hadn't really caught my attention. She definitely steals the show this time, just totally adorable and her dimples... . It's tough to judge a show after only two eps, but this show seems to be a winner.

My sister and I are starting this one tomorrow. I'm excited for her since all the peeps here were giving it great reviews! _________________
I continue my - Chae Rim - marathon with Oh My Lady. Episode 4. As with O! Pil Seung, once you start watching this amazing actor, it's impossible to stop. So again I'm up half the night. Wyn chan, thank you so much for giving me this endless feast. I think I will have to see everything she has done eventually unless of course it has a sad ending. I'm amazed at the versatility of Chae Rim, always intensely charismatic, interpreting each role somewhat differently, yet definitely the Chae Rim stamp of perfection.

When I get All About You I'll send it right away. My sister and I have started Oh Pil Seung and got hooked right away! I'm really looking forward to this one. _________________

I went back to watch the beginning again and found myself re-watching to ep 4.
I know you will love this drama.

I was very sad to read that An Jae had such a bout of depression.
He was my very first Korean hearthrob. I loved him so much and thought he was so talented. I have lots of his dramas and CDs and concert videos. He is a great singer and dancer. He was popular in China long before the 'Korean Wave' as it is called. He had a business in China way back.
When he gave his concerts he had lots of chorus girls and boys singing and dancing. He used to perform in barefeet. He said he could feel the rhythms better and felt safer than wearing shoes.
He did very well in his studies and was a mentor for younger students later on. He did a lot of theatre work and then radio before he did any TV.
I think he really came to fame with the drama 'Star in My Heart'. I think you can still watch this online. I think that is where I first fell for him and his leading lady was Choi Jin Sil and the 'villain' was Cha Im Pyo who also later became quite famous.
Later Ahn Jae was in a drama called 'Bad Boys' and his leading lady was Son Yu Nah He fell deeply in love with her and they became a couple and were engaged. Something happened which broke them up altho no-one ever talked about it. He was heartbroken and never was close with anyone after that. He was giving a lecture in his college once and said that he loved only one woman and she would always be in his heart and that was Miss Yun Nah. That was a long time ago.
His friends are close with him and try to find a nice person for him but he never seems interested. He has a baseball team of actors and show biz. people and they
play teams in Korean and in China for charity. I wondered why I had not seen them on TV or on videos for awhile but now I understand that he was having a tough time.
I hope he will recover and be able to perform again. He has been on a few variety talk shows lately.
Any of his dramas are worth watching if you like him. He does a good job every time.
He was a party guy and heavy smoker and drinker so that did not help him I guess.

Wow, what a coincidence! My sister was telling me yesterday about this. Such a sad story! I've only seen him in two dramas but he's already on my list of favs. He has started working these past few years. In 2008 he was in a drama and in 2009 he was in an episode of one. Mebbe this is his return? _________________

Well I was so renewed in my interest for Ahn Jae that I spent a long time last night searching for news. I am happy to find that he is doing live theatre and is in a musical called 'Jack the Ripper' Can't imagine what it is actually about, but it sounds intriguing to say the least. Jack as a song and dance man???
There was a video of him leaving the theatre at night and lots of devoted and enthusiastic fans who had just seen the play and they were most favourable in their comments to him. He looked tired but fine and I think he is OK.
He also held his annual camp this year for his many fans from all over the world. It was at JeJu Island. It usually lasts three or four days and it is loads of fun. They play games and swim and eat barbecue etc. He joins in everything. I remember seeing the final night of one camp and they have a huge bonfire and everyone has a candle torch and they sing songs and have serious moment before breaking up. they really do love Ahn Jae.

Don't know if this is also the movie thread, just viewed again the Kim Ki-Duk film Time. Quite disturbing at times, wouldn't call it enjoyable but still an interesting watch, also that it stars Seong Hyeon-ah makes it a must watch for us fans.
This can probably describe it better than me. http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/31312/time/ _________________
