^^ mhh, only a very low percentage of "shaved" topknots
Yes, true *lol*
but like bmwracer said, not really surprising. Well, I was only surprised by Hideyoshi not wearing a traditional chonmage. Nobunaga and Ranmaru are out by default. So far, ILm really impressed with the details the costume designer and stylists are working with in Gou. Like, the Mori siblingLs shaved plates, yet Ranmaru kept his full hair and child garments, like itLs historically correct. And NobunagaLs fashion style. They really made their homework!
ILm sorry *detail-nerd*
Gou is really, really promising!
A lot of us have high hopes for this Taiga, especially since our beloved Juri-chan is in it...!
@Romy
I just started watching Taigas and sadly I know too little about Japan history, therefore posts by "detail-afecionados" () are to me quite interesting and illuminating

Checking out Wiki would be am easy introduction to the subject.
Outside is freezing and snowing, holidays are coming so that could be a vary nice way to spend a few hours wrapped in a blanked and reading
At least for sorting out all the figures of the Sengoku era

If they had gone with this picture and a background for the splash page of the website instead of the Nickelodeon flash crap, I wouldn't have been bitching about how cheap it looked.
The trailers have gotten me amped about this, though that is their purpose. What I'm seeing is very encouraging. Large battles which mean we won't have that "high school auditorium play" look that Tenchijin had. Go's life is one of constant tragedy(3 husbands after all) intermixed with tumultous changes of the times. And it looks like the story is how she's swept up in that era, rather than how her smile and love will save Japan. This series definitely has potential.
