O! Nevermind. Just found some news on it on the internet. In British Columbia. So much for getting thorough National news. _________________

So you're saying I deserve the punishment.
Its been another full day of her trying to get back to the City and torturing me in the process. I pray for a flight to open up. _________________

Sweets to tame the wild beast.
Not a chance, Tu.
She scorns the simple Animal Cracker. _________________

Schodenfreude.
To take pleasure in anothers suffering.
Do you. Know German is the only language where that is only one word. _________________

Yes, on Wednesday I realized that it was highly likely that she wouldn't be able to fly into NYC For perhaps another 3 or 4. Days in which case she would kill me or I would kill myself. Her flights kept getting rescheduled and canceled. She and I were on the phone and Internet continuously. Anyway I had a sudden brainstorm and suggested she fly to Washington. My brother lives there. She spent a couple days there until the road travel conditions lightened and made it home on Saturday.
Aftershe left my husband and I slept for 12 hours.
She was super lucky. Her place was unaffected by the storm. My sister lost power for a few days and stayed at Moms . My cousin still has no power in Nyack, just across the river. But his place is fine. It's such a mess up there. Those poor people. Wonder how Enna is. _________________

As of yesterday, still no power. But Enna (and her cats) were doing okay.
Edit: Got an update about 8:15 a.m. today:
It is day #8 and still no power, but the good news is that I get to vote today! I enjoy voting! I am well and safe and so are my cats. I really am getting used to my colder house. lOL! I am still using the library computer.
