just finished and i'm satisfied with the ending. i'm glad that everything was resolved without being forced. this drama might be too slow for other but i thought it was just right and there weren't a lot of fanfares for cliches or unnecessary stuff. pretty straight forward. didn't feel draggy at all. | Bloody Monday [ブラッディ・マンデイ]

what a joy ride, i thought. i loved that there were twists almost every episode that it was hard to enjoy this drama. it wasn't too farfetch either that a high school student could be that savvy because miura haruma played his character with enough innocence and gentleness to him that you buy it. his relationship with his little sister was endearing to me. but the ending was open ended, left some questions unanswered that you can't help but hope for a second season! |

yankumi is the best! yukie nakama was born to play this character. amazing. the first drama i've seen matsujun in. he's just too cute for words. oguri and hiroki are fantastic, as usual. the head sensei is hilarious. his chemistry with nakama is one of the best! predictable but very funny and touching. | Hana Yori Dango [花より男子]

i was reluctant to watch hyd at first. but i'm glad i did, next to nodame cantabile this is an all time fave. the story is so simple yet so endearing. all 4 f4 were perfect and inoue mao truly embodied makino. matsujun and inoue made makino and domyoji one of the best loved couples in jdorama fandom! |

nakatsu for the win! i thought toma is the best thing about this drama. didn't care much for maki. oguri's usually great but i was rooting for nakatsu to get the girl. everyone in this hilarious drama is just funny & cute. nakatsu and his many, many laugh out loud moments. senpai namba. oscar. the kid who could see ghosts. the other kid who's name noone can remember. i could go on and on. those guys made this one worth watching. | Hotaru no Hikari [ホタルノヒカリ]

ayase once again is revelation. she perfectly played hotaru. you can't say anything bad about her performance. i immensely enjoyed this drama. there is something about the role that made me related to the character. it felt personal, in a way. :D |

i give 9, almost 10 for juri and eita alone. but it could have been really great, it's just there were too many heavy issues to be dealing in one drama. i'm still wondering what really happened with takeru, eita's character. it wasn't really explained. and the way they handled ryo's sousuke at the end was just a little too convenient. that made me upset a bit. but over all, i did enjoy last friends. the maturity level on the drama was refreshing considering i mostly watch high school dramas, light stuff. | Liar Game [ライアーゲーム]

i thought the story was exciting. each episode made me guess. shota was hotter than ever. what's more to ask. though at times, erika's character bugged the heck out of me. but other than that, i really did enjoy this series that i'm hoping there'd be a 2nd one. |

yamapi was perfect as akira! i laugh so hard everytime he makes that hand gesture and says kon kon! i don't know why but it made my day every time i saw it. it was sweet and funny. and weird. he made acting all unusual so cool. and kame. what can i say about kame? he played that character so well. his coolness about him complement akira's nonchalance. in the end, akira's decision made really sense. | Orange Days [オレンジデイズ]

satoshi can't do anything wrong in my book. and kou has also played the sassy girl with a big personality like no other but even as deaf and mute, she somehow got even a bigger personality. that's says a lot! i loved that friendship again is an important factor. enjoyed the look of college life. juri with a supporting role capped this for me. she's always fun to watch, even in a small role like this one, she makes it shine. eita and hiroki are amazing as well. but of course! truly, truly recommend this one! |

yamapi's cute. masami's cute. nana's cute. everybody's cute but really, why must every episode seemed like a let down? i had to skip the latter part of the series and fast forwarded to the special. glad the 2nd half of the special kinda redeemed it a little for me. but this isn't one of my faves. |
Ryusei no Kizuna [流星の絆]
bettern than expected. [Rating: 8/10]
i didn't have much expectations when i went into this but surprisingly, i had a really good time. i'm glad that it had more funny moments than not. i give mostly all the credits to nino! he did an amazing job. he pulled off both the fun & serious side of his character. i thought the three siblings had really great chemistry, they were believable. jun did a great job as well. the theme songs both by arashi and mika were top notch. i was a little bit surprised of the ending. it was really well done. my only beef is i hoped mika's role was more substantial. i do love her! | Stand UP!!
original story for a drama. [Rating: 8/10]
despite of the plot, i thought it was sweet more than anything. i don't think there's been a drama that tackled the same subject but it is actually not what you think. it's not perverted or obscene at all. the story was more than about sex and losing virginity, it actually tried to teach you that you should wait. nino was great. but i thought yamapi was the sweetest of the bunch. he was the one who made more sense. he understood the responsibility and what sex means. |

i thought kame & ayase had such great chemistry. i loved that of course, friendship plays a big role on making & keeping the two together. i've never felt so at ease watching a drama. there were so many moments in the drama that really touched me. i fell in love w/ kame in this. and ayase, i've become even more a fan. i thought she was great in hotaru no hikaru. this one sealed it for me. | Ushi ni Negai wo: Love & Farm [牛に願いを - Love & Farm]
simple but quite nice! [Rating: 8/10]
story's really simple but i love the pastoral feel to it. i did enjoy the scenarios and the camraderie between the students and the locals. and amongs the students as well. tamayama was great in it in a more subtle role. might be slow to some but it didn't bother me at all. life can be kinda slow if you live a farm and there's not much stuff going on around you. i do have an appreciation for that, at times. |

i enjoyed it. but riko was bothersome at times. i really felt & was rooting for nighto. but soshi was such a good boy too that you also wanna root for him. so either way, it isn't going to make everyone happy. i'm about to watch the special, hope it's not a let down. | |
