Yes, everyone as long as u buy the tickets as mentioned in the earlier post...u can only buy it on the spot...the advance sale of tickets are reserved for the Japanese Association members

to add on,
here are the details for free shuttle bus service (not SBS bus no. 2)
From tanah merah mrt station EXIT B to the campus
btw 5pm to 7pm every 15 minutes

return trip
from the campus to tanah merah mrt station
7.30pm to 10pm every 15 minutes

look out for the bus with čՂ2004 sticker

if you have yukata but dont know how to wear, u can just bring it along, there would be volunteers to dress u up Mr Green

here are the details for rental of yukata
4.30pm to 6.30pm
for those of u who needs help in wearing your own yukata, please also come at this time....i think they have separate queues for rental and wearing of own yukata

return rented yukata between 8.30pm to 9.40pm on the SAME day

there is a cleaning fee which u have to pay think abt $2
yukatas are while-stocks-last so be early if you wish to wear....esp ladies...guys wont have this supply problem since many of them are shy of wearing it

have fun!!

Apparently, i didnt make myself clear abt the event

For those of you who needs to buy the $6 tickets (meaning you are not a member of JAS and hence cannot buy the advanced tickets)
on the spot, the sale starts ONLY at 6pm......near to the entry point

the school's main gate would be opened much earlier and you are of course welcome to line up before 6pm to purchase the tickets....DO NOT expect them to start selling the tickets just because u went there early............go early (ie 5pm) so that when the ticket sale starts, you are the first few to buy....heh talking about being kiasu here

the yukata rental queue is DIFFERENT from the ticket queue
First-come-first-serve basis

in any case, you need to pay a cleaning fee (abt 2 dollars) for renting it....
i dont really know what is the mode of payment since i didnt manage to rent it last year. But if i didnt remember wrongly, we were asked to buy the tickets first (mentioned above) to pay for the cleaning fee, which was why my friends and i were split into 2 groups -- 1 grp to purchase the tickets, 1 grp for the yukata....

IF you are the lucky ones who somehow manage to get the $10 advance tickets, u can enter the field (which is where the actual event takes place) at 6PM via the entry point........since you have got the tickets, you can go early to rent the yukata....in short u have the priviledge to rent the yukata before anyone else!!

understand??

PS do not blame me for giving inaccurate information. Whatever information I know is from my friends in JAS and based on last year's experience
please do understand Bow

^hi thanks for all the information!

Btw, I have my own yukata but am really clueless on how to wear it. So do I need to go early to have people help me wear it? Or do I need the tickets to get in first than they will help me wear it? Doh!

(And er..it's quite weird for people to help you wear something if you're not wearing something inside the yukata right? any advices?) Sweat Sweat

yes u can go early to ask them to help u to wear....
bt then again the queue for people with their own yukata is usually very short so u dont have to go there super early.... hehe u dont need the tics to get in first before they help u wear.you can buy the tics after u wore ur yukata....

no problem, i am glad to be of some help....if the venue for yukata did not change, it would be in the classrooms on the first floor . there would be signs to guide you. after walking past the main gate, you will reach the main building of the school, on your right side, you should see rows of classroom..there would be signs both in japanese and english to indicate which classroom do you go to.....after wearing your yukata, you may wish to proceed to the ticket queue.....if you are gog with frens, it might be faster if you take turns to queue for tickets while some of you go and wear your yukatas.......
