Hehe.. actually, I just decided to withhold any judgment until I see another one.

The format of the download I have is a little rough - subtitles cut in and out (I was actually able to understand some when they didn't have them though!!)

It's also ripped straight from TV - so it's pretty low video quality. I may see if I can find another version.

Good luck... The only one I've seen is a TV rip... At best, the video is a B+

I loved the ending to Episode 1: Ryoko-chan doesn't mind making herself look silly for a laugh. Victory! Peace!

Okay.. I know why you like this show so much, Beem - it's totally like Nodame.

She's incredibly hopeless and socially awkward, but is willing to do anything. It's very cute.

Ryoko is very interesting - she's very playful in this show, like Juri (in fact she even did a very Nodame-like frustrated face during ep. 2).

It's a little alarming how different the two families are. It's almost a shock to go back and forth.. and Honami does her best to bumble through both with reckless abandon.

Now that you bring it up, there are similarities... I'm a sucker for those adorable, lovable, spunky, kooky women... Bonk

It does, but without subs, like any other drama. Sad

And *I'm* blamed for off-topicness? Rolling eyes

ON-TOPIC: Gonna watch Atsuhime tonight. Possibly the next episode of Daisuki too if I don't spend it on my new laptop too much. Beaten

It's only a couple of posts, not a couple of pages.

In an effort to stretch out my few remaining episodes of Second Chance I started watching Daisuki

http://jdorama.com/drama.1248.htm

Yup. It's a fine performance by Karina. The supporting cast does a great job, and it's well written.

But it's a show designed to make you weep as you watch. And I get enough weeping whenever I fill the tank of my truck, or check my bank statement.
