As an fan of the animated series, I watched this as well. It's not bad. ^^

I haven't seen the animated series, but I watched this and it was decently entertaining. I originally watched it for Ito Misaki, but I ended up liking Hara Sachie better

I thought the same thing as well. The drama had potential to be so much more in various aspects. It couldn't decide whether it wanted to be a police or comedy or romance drama. It kind of just threw them all in and did each in a mediocre way. The characters were lovable though so it wasn't all that bad
