Please! No platform mudslinging!!!

Seeing others are posting more details... I use the following (also posted at my web site):
For my personal viewing of Jdorama content, I'm using a Pentium III 866Mhz w/512MB RAM, Windows XP Pro with SP4, Windows Media Player 9 with a ton of different codecs.
For my video capturing/processing:
VHS recordings obtained by another source were converted to VCD using a 4-head VHS player, fed to an Apple eMac via the Canopus ADVC-100 analog/digital converter. Video/audio was brought into Apple iMovie 3.0, then converted to VCD using Roxio Toast 6.
Recordings straight off of cable feed is made on an Apple eMac with EyeTV by El Gato Software. Earlier programming using this method was fed via the coax connection connected direcly to EyeTV, however the audio emitted a hissing sound. Therefore, I'm now feeding the video/audio to EyeTV directly from the digital cable box, and the audio is very clean. Sampling using EyeTV varies between standard MPEG-1 (170Kb/sec) or MPEG-1 High-Quality (340Kb/sec).
Episodes captured by me is saved as a single MPEG-1 file.
VCD content is burned onto CD-R using either an Apple iMac with Roxio Toast Titanium 6, or a PC running Microsoft Windows XP Professional with Neo Burning ROM 6.0.0.15.
DVD content using DVD-R media is created using an Apple iMac with iDVD 3.0.
DVD content using DVD+R media is created using a SONY DRU-510A on Windows XP Pro using Nero Burning ROM 6.0.0.15.
CD-R and DVD-R disk media I use are: Apple 4x DVD-R, Pioneer 4x DVD-R, Memorex CD-R (traditional and black), TDK CD-R, Phillips CD-R. All CD-R media are rated 12x or better, and are usually burned at 12x speed.
