hey alright high five! i use opera also!!! IE is sooo evil.. opera just has more features and is IMO just plain better to use... one of the best features i like about it is the "open in background window" option is USE THAT ALL THE TIME and IE doesn 't have it nyah

ueven get a free e-mail address when u use opera...isn't that cool?

oah and michi DO NOT UNINSTALL IE just leave it in...i di once and it messed up everything!! just leave it there but don't use it and set opera as ur default browser......
on a side note: doesn't JDORAMA LOOK SOOOO MUCH BETTER ON OPERA!? ....lol

a world completely running M$ software is a world without innovation.. after the gr8 browser war ended in 1999 with netscape gone for gd.. by then IE was version 5.5.. doesnt anyone realise there s nothing different abt IE 6.0 in features frm 5.0 (5 years liao) apart frm juz a facelift

other browsers now hav download resume functions, ad blocking and so much more.. IE is still the same as b4 cos its top dog in the market and everyone s stuck on it.. hey, its time to boycott IE and curse M$ gets more anti trust suits

u cannot uninstall IE, its built into windoze. part of their great stellar plan to take over the whole world, that s how the anti trust case arose.. they hav since been ordered not to include IE but they purposedly built it in so the judge and jury cant do anything cos a windoze without IE engine is juz a lame duck

i did that years ago my friend!... and no i didn't notice IE5 and 6 were the samei just noticed IE sucked PERIOD! so i stoped using it!... and i looked forever for a good browser untill i found opera like 1 1/2 years ago! by accident .. on a side note i also have a japanese browser called NJstar ASIAN EXPLORER but i tend not to use it much cuz its based off IE ...bah! but its good for findinjg asian stuff u would normaly miss on an american browser!

guess what? im having problem with OPERA cant type anything in there.. infact im using IE to send this msg. i've been restarting my com for like 3 times.. but still cant write anything in OPERA

Well, you've gotta save all of your important data first... Do you have a CDRW drive and CDRW discs to do this? Or maybe another partition or hard drive to copy the files to?

It's somewhat complicated and not for a beginner... It could be very risky if you're not sure what you're doing...

There seems to be no easy solution, I'm afraid. Sad

Nothing wrong it with, my windows xp has plenty of patches on it. Windows tend to be vulnerable to a lot of bugs and hacks and what not... hence there's always new band-aids to fix it. I wish Windows can be like the Mac OS or Linux or something. If I am not so damn used to Windows, I might consider changing the operating system.

ok good guess what?? i also cant open all microsoft office tools: words, excel, access, frontpage >_< does every computer have logitech installed in the com??
