Oguri Shunfs first movie as a director, gSURELY SOMEDAYg, was invited to Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival in Korea so Shun went over. Although there was no announcement of Shunfs arrival, 1,200 fans welcomed Shun at Gimpo airport.
While Shun was staying in Korea, there was a shoot for a TV talk show with both Shun and Kim Hyun Joong. Both of them played the role of gHanazawa Ruih in gHana yori Dangoh (Boys over flowers), and this was the first time for them to see each other in person.
Shun was asked what kind of role he would want to give to Kim Hyun Joong as a director, Shun answered, gI want to see him playing a very manly role, which fans may not expect.h

Shun Oguri to star in stage version of "A Clockwork Orange"
Actor Shun Oguri (27) will star in a stage version of the Anthony Burgess novel "A Clockwork Orange," set to be performed early next year. This will be the first time that the story is adapted for the stage in Japan.
The best known adaptation of "A Clockwork Orange" is Stanley Kubrick's film in 1971. However, it has also received multiple theatrical adaptations in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States.
According to Horipro, which is handling the production of the play, there have been plans to adapt the book to stage previously in Japan, but an appropriate actor for the brutal character of Alex could not be found. But after Oguri's roles in the "Crows ZERO" movies and in the stage version of "Caligula," Horipro felt he fit the part and gave him an offer last summer.
Masahiko Kawahara will direct. Performances are scheduled to start in January 2011.

Currently watching Tokyo Dogs and it's started off my Shun obsession again so thought I'd catch up on his gossip here.
Wah he getting married.....never could bring myself to finish watching Binbo Danshi after finding out they were dating haha sad I know, mind you I'm a married mother of two kids. Still acting like a teenager.
Happy for them anyhow. Everyone deserves to be happy.

I haven't been a teenager for long time
Saw him in Hana Yori Dango n that was it I was hooked, went crazy and bought many not so good films with him in

Shun Oguri, Mao Inoue reunite in "Veterinarian Dolittle" drama
It is now confirmed that Shun Oguri (27) and Mao Inoue (23) will co-star in a new drama series this fall. The pair, who appeared together in the live-action "Hana Yori Dango," have been cast in an adaptation of "Juui Dolittle" ("Veterinarian Dolittle"), a manga written by Midori Natsu and illustrated by Kiyoshi Chikuyama.
Oguri plays the part of Kenichi Tottori, a highly capable veterinarian known by the nickname "Dolittle." He has a sharp tongue, and he maintains a strict attitude about issues such as money and proper pet care. But in addition to saving animals, he also helps fix the problems of their owners.
Inoue plays the female lead as Kenichi's co-worker Asuka Tajima, while Hiroki Narimiya (27) as rival veterinarian Masaru Hanabishi. The show will also focus on the love triangle between the three characters.
The show will air on TBS in the Sunday 9:00pm time slot, starting in October.
