Isn't listed in the Database.
A shame, because I'm watching it now, and it's really very good. It's basically six loosley connected short stories. One seperate cast is featured in three of the episodes, but the other three have completely different casts.
Fukatsu Eri
Yusuke Santamaria
Watenabe Ken
The particulars on the series can be found at:

I don't think anything NHK is in the database...which is a shame.

OK...I may be wrong. But...there are a LOT of NHK dramas NOT inlcuded. I think your examples are more the exceptions rather than the rule.
In fact if you look at dramas by season (upper right of start page) NHK usuall isn't listed.

The JDorama.com database consists of:
- Dramas that JDorama.com members report
- Dramas that Genma found during his research
I'm not sure how NT2099 obtains their data, but I'm assuming the adminstrator there takes a more aggressive effort in keeping his database up-to-date. As for JDorama.com's DB, I won't hold Genma personally responsible for the lack of up-to-date data. You must understand that part of the members' responsibility is to report new findings and corrections.
With that... There is a proper method of submitting new information to Genma to enter into the database. I define "new" in this context as information that currently doesn't appear in the database. In otherwords, information on a drama that aired five years ago is considered new information seeing it never existed on the database.
The procedure for submission of new data can be found here:
Sticky: Guidelines to add new dramas, artistes, pictures, features
http://www.jdorama.com/viewtopic.760.htm
Keep in mind, however, that Genma is currently putting all new entries on hold, per his announcement:
Sticky: Genma in hibernation
http://www.jdorama.com/viewtopic.5631.htm
So I'd hold off on sending him a flood of new information until he returns.

OK. Thanks. I've submitted some NHK before (Churasan) and it's never been added. Probably because he's in hybernation.

the synopsis for Oyaji series (http://www.jdorama.com/drama.496.htm) is completely wrong. Probably for some other series. Anybody who has seen the Oyaji series must have noticed. |
Are u sure you didn't get it mixed up with the series Otousan? http://www.jdorama.com/drama.612.htm

Just had a double take of the synopsis and realised too that wilx was right.
That is so odd. Was this the first time that somebody had picked up on that? If so than wilx have a really good pair of eyes.

Good update.
Takeshi Kitano is already listed, though.... Oh, and who's the guy who played Yagyu Sekishusai? I've seen him in other shows... Fujita? Fukoto? Something like that...
