Bush liberated Iraq. He preserved human rights by doing so. I think anyone would've wanted such liberation from such a leader as Saddam. Don't you?!

This kind of naive argument staggers me. If our current administration is so concerned about human rights, why did they accept Uzbekistan into the "coalition of the willing"? Uzbekistan has a terrible human rights record. And why aren't we in Sudan, where a Genocide is currently happening (Colin Powell's words, not mine)? I think it's because there is no oil there. but I suppose living under the current administration has made me very cynical.

He also created a lot of jobs.

This is totally untrue. Bush has an extremely poor jobs creation record, one of the worst records in recent history on that score.

Well...I'm pretty moderate myself. I lean more towards the Dems on social issues (kind of like Arnold)...but I can't agree at ALL with the Dems on foreign policy. I personally believe we are where we are today BECAUSE of Clinton. We had 8 years of opportunities to do something about terrorism before it got out of hand...

I'm curious...

If you had a choice to choose a Republican candidate for president, who would you choose?

A. George Bush
B. John McCain
C. Colin Powell

I'm wondering if folks would prefer a different GOP candidate than Bush.

Speaking of clinton, i remember when i was still an active duty Marine, i was assigned as part of his security duty for his 2nd inaugeration....

As far as who'd i'm supporting in this election, as a rep, i think i'll vote kerry tins time, only b/c nader is not in the VA ballot. (BTW, that lone vote for nader here, its me, hehehehe...). If Bush does leave, however, I'll miss all the inadvertant funny things he say when he speaks.

it's Schwarzenegger and what do you have against him? He's not even a national politician he's the governor of a state so I'm not sure how this is related to voting for president?
